Regret and nervousness

Monday October 28th

I woke up feeling groggy and irritated not wanting to be up this early. Remembering I have my first appointment at my OBGYN caused my nerves to be on high alert. Aunt Sally called out from her job at the local restaurant to be able to take me. The appointment is in 30 minutes so I rushed to get ready and ran as fast as my pregnant body could go, down the stairs. I wasn’t sure what to expect and the nerves alone made me not want to go. 

“Alison, eat up you have a big day today and make sure to drink lots of water before we get there.”
