4 Team Building

Kaden Kirby stepped off the curb and walked across with all the other people crossing the street. His dark hair cast a blue tint as the sun shown down.

Arriving at the other side of the busy street, he leans against the glass windows of an office building. A white limo pulls up across the street and he begins taking photos of Mage and her father as they exit the car.

An unknown man stands to the side, extending his hand as Mage's father steps close. They shake hands and Mage looks around as if she doesn't want to be seen. The three of them walk into a building and disappear from site.

KK pushes his camera inside the black bag at his side and pulls out a phone. He dials Mr. Stienman's number and listens as it rings. Carter answers from his seat behind the wheel of the Mercedes.

"Mr. Kirby, what do I owe the honor?"

"I wanted to let you know, Miss Shoten, her father and an unknown male are meeting at the Fry Building as we speak."

"I understand, I will let my boss know. Thank you."

KK turns and walks to a bench and sits down waiting for the three to exit so he can take more photos for his mysterious client. He pulls out his phone and searches the news.

Carter sits in the car waiting for Leo to return after a meeting. His boss was so angry over the things happening in his company. He hoped there would be a resolution and that Leo would settle the rumors and gain back control. He had worked for Leo for 5 years now and knew how much the company meant to him.

Leo walks out of the building, loosening his tie and climbing in the backseat. As the door closes, Carter turns and nods.

"What's happening?"

"Mage, her father, and an unknown man are meeting as we speak. Mr. Kirby is keeping watch. He sent the address."

"Go. Let's see who they are plotting with."

Carter drove to the address and pulled over to the curb. Leo watched the building. The Fry Building was a well known office building with many  law firms.  Leo squeezed the water bottle, he held, as the thoughts of what may be happening inside really pissed him off. He started to get out of the car, but Carter stopped him.

"Mr. Kirby is sitting across the street, maybe we should go see what info he has before you barge inside?"

Leo glared at him but nodded. They got out together and crossed the street. Leo lifted an eyebrow when he saw KK looking down at his camera. His dark hair hung in his face but Leo could see the sharp jawline of the obviously younger man. He smirked to himself but remained stoic.

Carter stepped in front of KK and cleared his throat.

"Mr. Kirby?" KK looks up at Carter. "Mr. Stienman, you are here." A tall man stepped from behind Carter and nodded to KK.

KK swallowed. (How could a man look like that?) KK regained his senses and extended his hand towards Leo. Carter proceeded to make introductions.

"Mr. Kirby, this Leo Shin, my boss and CEO of Pinnacle Electronics." He watched the two men as they stared at each other. "Boss, this is Kaden Kirby, the PI we have hired to follow Mage and look into the..."

Leo interrupts him by stepping closer to KK and wrapping his hand around the extended hand. "What's happening inside?" 

KK smiles.

Leo swallows.

KK tries to pull his hand away.

Leo holds it tightly.

Carter watches the interaction, slightly afraid for KK. (Boss is going to eat him alive if he screws this investigation up.)

KK uses his other hand to pull photos from a small bag slung across his shoulder. He holds them out to Leo, his hand beginning to sweat as the beautiful man holds it. Leo slips his hand away, his fingers lingering longer than they should and takes the pictures from KK.

Leo flips through the photos. He doesn't recognize the man with Mage and her father. He snarls, and hands the pictures to Carter. He turns a kicks the bench with his foot. KK steps back, he feels pity for this man who is facing such a crisis at a young age.

"Mr. Shin, is there anything you want me to do to help?" Leo turns and looks at KK.  He takes one step closer. KK backs up a step. Another step.

KK falls onto the bench and Leo leans down towards him.

"You want to help? You will do what I ask?"

KK thinks for a minute, his heart racing. He was straight but this man made him feel breathless. He nods slowly. "As long as I don't lose my license.....yes."

Leo smirks and leans down to KK's ear. He whispers something making KK's eyes widen and lean back to look at Leo's face.

"What? You want me to do what?"
