Sitting in the back seat, Leo started thinking about Kaden. His thoughts drifted to the shower and the faces KK made while pleasuring himself. He couldn't wait for everything to calm down so he could spend time with the private detective. He smiled to himself, ran his hand down his rising member trying to calm it down. The upside-down Audi smashed against the pavement in front of an oncoming garbage truck. KK turned his head, looking across the passenger seat, in time to see the smoke from the brakes of the truck as it attempted to stop before striking him. He braced for impact, not feeling the injuries he had already suffered. The truck managed to stop enough, barely tapping the side of the crushed Audi and spinning it around in the center of the roadway. Leo ran into the hospital and headed to the emergency room. Teams of doctors and nurses were dashing around. Apparently, KK wasn't the only one having a bad day. Leo darted around, searching for the bed Kaden was in. He began to panic when he couldn't find him. He ran up two flights of stairs to the inpatient floor and spotted Flynn and Carter sitting together on a bench near the operating arena. At the hospital, Leo sat next to KK in the ICU. He looked at the tubes and machinery hooked up to the private detective. He thrust his head in his hands in anguish. He began talking but KK wasn't awake to hear him. "Kaden, why did you leave the house? You were safe there. I'm sorry you had to hear all the things I said to Mage. I didn't mean a word of it..." He sighed heavily, reaching for the younger man's hand. Caressing the back with his thumb, he continued. "Wake up, will ya? I need to talk to you. I..." He choked back the lump in his throat and wiped a tear as it slipped down his worried, exhausted face. "I need you to get better. I need..." The door opened and a doctor entered. Mr. Shoten sat in a room surrounded by members of the Board of Directors. They were there to discuss the Rapture project and it's implimentation. A secretary wandered into the room and stood beside the older man. She leaned down, whispering in his ear.A smile as wide as the Grand Canyon spread across his face as he nodded and looked to the BOD members. He stood, straightening his suit, puffing out his chest like a proud peacock."We have good news. Mr. Shin will be taking a break from work for the unforseable future.
