26 Blood and Tears

Leo ran into the hospital and headed to the emergency room. Teams of doctors and nurses were dashing around. Apparently, KK wasn't the only one having a bad day. Leo darted around, searching for the bed Kaden was in.

He began to panic when he couldn't find him. He ran up two flights of stairs to the inpatient floor and spotted Flynn and Carter sitting together on a bench near the operating arena.

Carter noticed Leo first and jumped up to stop him from barging into the OR. Flynn made himself a barricade as well.

"Leo, slow down."

Leo stopped, staring at the closed doors and the sign lit up red above. A tear formed in his eye and he slowly looked to the two men standing next to him. He noticed the look of worry on their faces and the tears began to slip down his tired face.
