The next day after school, Hayley sat downstairs at the pack mansion waiting for Axel so she could help him with his work.
She was told that he was out with some friends.
Which almost made her want to leave, but it was all for the sake of looking good to some of her teachers.
Hayley's mind drifted back to her run in with Aspen. She knew there was something he wasn't telling her and she was going to find out what it was.
Hayley checked her time again, because to her, apparently playing a game of catch the town bitch was more important than Axel's own education.
His father came to check on her every minute. Offering food, water, juice, or if she wanted to watch a movie while she waited.
"Are you sure that you don't want anything to eat?'' Charlie asked, once again poking his head around the corner.
"No, I'm fine. Just patiently waiting on Axel.'' Hayley said, thinking that she will wring his neck when he got home.

Hayley opened one eye, then the other, looking at her final score. She got all perfect scores, expect in Wolf Anatomy. Simply because she didn't know how to explain what it was like to undergo the shift. But she didn't care. She still passed, and it was now the end of the last school year for her, so was it for everyone else. Well, not everyone, just those that finished their schooling and didn't get held back for another year. Even though Hayley was happy to be finished with school, she was not excited for one thing. At the end of school for the senior year students, they all have to do an impossible obstacle course, one that placed them in their class of work. It could be in the office, or out in the fields, or even being a guard. Whatever it was, once you are finished with school, you have to go through with the course. When Hayley woke up and it was well past five, her hair was a tangled mess, and half her body was hanging off her bed. She groaned before rolling out of the bed, to drag herself to the bathroom, feeling lightheaded as she went. It felt like the best sleep she ever had in a while. After getting all cleaned up, Hayley went downstairs for food, which the maid, Amy, was just about finishing up with. "Good evening, young lady.
