“Daemons?” Angelina offered.

“Ah, that would explain it. Daemonic pregnancies are not painful at all,” he informed.

“Really?” Angelina and I asked.

“Yep! We’ve never understood it, but it’s always been that way. Anyway, let’s get you sorted out. I’ll get Julia to come and attend to you,” he smiled. Julia is the gynaecologist here.

“Thanks,” I said before we were lead to a room. I helped her change out of her gown into the hospital dress.

“Si, where are you guys?” Kieran linked me.

“Doctor’s quarters,” I replied.

“What’s wrong?” my best friend panicked.

“Nothing much! Angelina’s about to give birth,” I chuckled.

“AND YOU DON’T SAY ANYTHING?” he shouted.

“Calm down leech! We wanted to be alone for this one,” I laughed.

“You sure?” he asked.

“Yeah, we are! We’ll tell you as soon as we’re ready to let you see the kids,” I replied before shutting him out as Julia walked into the room.

“Alphas,” she bowed respectfully.

“Hello Julia,” we both replied.
