Chapter Twenty-six
Will parks in the front of Annie's house and comes out. He opens the door for Annie with a smile.
"Arghh…. I'm going to miss carrying you around"
"So you liked it when I was on crutches?", she asks in fake annoyance.
"But of course you enjoyed me carrying you around, didn't you?"
"I never said so"
"I know you did"
"Okay maybe I did", she admits and he laughs. She comes out of the car and he shuts the door. They walk to her doorstep together. "So see you on Monday?"
"Monday it is", he replies with a smile.
"Thanks a lot, for everything"
"I don't mind"
"You ought to say you're welcome", she yells and pokes his stomach.
"Ouch!", he exclaims and she laughs. "You have no idea how beautiful you are", he murmurs suddenly not playful anymore.
"Am I?", she asks blushing.

Will trudges into his home and collapses into a cushion, shutting his eyes for some seconds before standing up. He walks towards the refrigerator in the dinning area to bring out a beer. "Football meeting at the locker room, right now", Kenneth tells Will and Rick as they enter school, making them begin heading to the locker room. The ABC girls walk out of school together heading to the school bus. The cheerleaders were having their final competition in Boston. They enter the bus and head to the backseat together. Annie walks into school hurriedly with Brenda and Carrie. Annie had woken up late making them late and now they only had a few minutes left till their class would begin.
