Chapter Twenty-nine

"Football meeting at the locker room, right now", Kenneth tells Will and Rick as they enter school, making them begin heading to the locker room. As they open the door, they are glitter bombed and the football guys laugh at Will's shocked expression.

"Time to showcase our newest trophy", someone yells and Will grins.

He walks to the center of the gathering where the trophy they earned the previous night stood. He lifts the trophy and they begin to cheer as he takes it to the transparent glass cabinet where they stored their trophies. He keeps it inside and the cheers heighten. He shuts the cabinet and turns around.

"Who just won the championship?", Will yells.

"The Brooklyn Giants!!!", everyone yells in reply.

"I said who just won the championship?", he yells again and they give the same reply in a louder tone. "Damn guys, I'm so happy. I don't even know what to say"

"Say you'll attend the party at my house", a grade twelve student, Travis says walking towards Will.
