12: Saving her

When I finally spot the car I know I need to stop it and stop it fast, before it’s too late ... I can’t let him defile my beloved mate. I know it might seem old fashioned ... but the wolf in us has a very good nose and the smell of another male and his ... fruitful juices in our mate … in her intimates … makes it almost impossible to be near her as we can smell it to clearly and it angers the beast.
I can’t stand the thought of this … creep … this human touching her, of him spewing his essence into her. And I know she doesn’t want it either… she can’t want it.
Not knowing what else to do, I make a shortcut where the car has to go around the bend, giving me time to get ahead of it, if just slightly … and without any thought for my own safety, I throw myself in front of the car, trying to look as scary as possible, growling like a maniac
