“Would you not invite us inside Zara?” Abram asked with a wicked smile.

The fear and the hesitation on her face were enough to concrete his suspicion of her. When she didn’t reply, he barged in with force making her stumble back, followed by Ronan, who secured the exit.

“What…how…do you know this place?” she stuttered, gaping at how her escape was blocked by a stranger.

“The same way you came to know I was hospitalized. Funny, Dad told me it was you who called him that day and not the other way around,” as soon as he said, her face blanched.

“Y-yes…I….c-came back that day and…a-and wanted to check about Ruby aunty,” she stammered with shallow breathing.

“Oh, I forgot to mention, Mom is awake now, and she was asking about you,” he said, plopping on the couch and spreading his arms on the backrest.
