Saving Myra

Myra stood frozen in her place even when Elijah lay unconscious on the floor. Pain, anger, frustration, and every emotion rushed through her. She didn’t know what would happen to her or how she would deal with the aftermath of going through so much, but she couldn’t care less. She was done with being the damsel, with people breaking her trust. At that point, something snapped inside her. She was so overwhelmed that she didn’t realize the absence of her baby kicking inside her and a bubbling pain rushing through her spine.
