Luke and I smiled at his dad and I nodded, “Thank you, my king. I promise to do my best for you and make you proud.” King Parker chuckled, “I have no doubt that you will. For now, let’s take that tour of the castle.” Luke and I held hands as his father walked us through the castle, showing us all the most important rooms. At one point, Parker opens a door to reveal a modern office with a wall full of windows explaining, “This is Luke’s office for when he’s working here.” I stepped in and saw that there was a second office desk with computer and printer. He smiled, “As soon as I found out that my son found his mate, I furnished his office with another office space.” I smiled, “Thank you. It’s perfect. I love it.” He smiled, “You are very welcome. I’m glad you like it.”
