I was trying to get more work done when Luke stood behind me and started watching what I was doing. I wanted to try to get totally caught up today because I wanted to reduce the amount of paperwork that would be waiting for me when we get home from our trip. As I enjoyed his close proximity to me, I looked up and asked, “What’s up?” He chuckled at me, “Nothing. I was just wondering when you are going to be done.” Then he blushed and continued, “I’m kinda getting hungry.” I looked at the time and gasped, “Six pm! Why didn’t you say something earlier? I’m so sorry. I guess I just got carried away with this.” He laughed at me, “You are so cute. I love how you want to take care of me, but it’s okay. I can just put a frozen pizza in the oven.” I wrinkled my nose, “Save those for when I’m not here. I’ll make some chicken parmesan.
