I wasn't myself the whole time. It was only then that I had a sense of myself when Alpha Ace carried me back to his room and put some blankets on me. Hurried panicked footsteps were dragging along the concrete floor and I paused as I observed everything while my lame bodyguard was urging me to move. “Come on.
