“Don’t make me repeat myself again, what are you doing here?” Lucius asked this time more louder.

Mia eyes darted back and forth not knowing what to say, the aura emanating from him was cold and frightening.

She wished that she could just vanish at the moment.

“Since you are here, I hope that you can handle your punishment. Take her away” Lucius ordered the two bodyguard was behind him.

“No, please, please” Mia pleaded as the two hefty men approached her.

They reached where she was and held her in arms, they then started dragging her out of the room.

“Make sure you teach her some lesson” he added.

“Please, forgive me, please” she pleaded again but the plea fell on Lucius deaf ear.

The bodyguards wanted to exit through the door when the door opened, Eva walked into the room with Big.

“What’s going on here?” she asked looking from Mia to her brother.

When her brother didn’t reply she turned to Mia, “ you !, what did you do?” she asked.

“He led me into here, I thought that it was the dining room” Mia replied.

“Who did you say led you here”

“Him” Mia pointed at Big.

“No, that can’t be, Big has been with me since morning” Eva shook her head not believing Mia’s claim.

“Big can never lead you here because he knows that this is Lucius dining room and he hates when someone else enters it without his permission”.

“He is the one that…”

“Do I need to put a bullet through heads before you take her out of here” Lucius threatened the two bodyguards.

Without wasting time, they started dragged Mia out of the room and before they exited completely Mia saw Eva smirking at her.

“That bitch” Mia cursed in her mind. 

The bodyguards continued dragging her further deep into the house, Mia noticed that the place looked like it was not used frequently.

Everywhere is neat though but there a huge absence of lack of constant human activities, just like the ways the curtains covering the windows are looking so straight and neat than normal.

Mia felt her heart accelerated, threatening to burst out of her chest. Invisible beads of perspiration washed over her body at the thought of the punishment they would carry out on her.

Where are they taking me?, is this how I will die?, she thought.

Just then a sharp piercing scream cut into the air almost deafening her ears, the voice seemed like a woman’s own and it sounded agonizing.

It was at the moment that Mia realized what she has gotten herself into, she then started trying to be free from the bodyguards grip but she couldn’t.

They dragged her firmly towards the direction where the scream coming from, she started screaming and pleading for them to spare her but they ignored her.

Finally they got to a door, the screams were actually coming from the door. Now close to it, Mia could swear that they were torturing the woman for her to be screaming this way.

“I will hold her, open the door” one of the bodyguard said to the other.

“Okay” the other bodyguard released Mia and went to open the door, his hand had already turned the doorknob when.

“Stop right there !!” someone yelled from behind.

“Ma Eva…” one of the bodyguard muttered when he turned around and saw her.

Eva?, what is she doing here? Of course she wanted to come and gloat of course.

“You guys can leave, I will take it from here” Eva said when she came to where they are.

“But ma, we were…”

“He was the one that told me to take care of it so you guys can leave” she interrupted.

“Okay ma” the other one released Mia and they both bowed before they walked away.

“Tsk, tsk,tsk, look at you. You look terrible” she uttered.

“What are you doing here?” Mia asked glaring at her while her hands rubbed her two wrists to ease the pain she was feeling there.

“I am saving you, isn’t it obvious” Eva asked, slanting her head.

“Oh so you are saving me after setting me up, Aurora?” Mia asked.

“I set you up so you can get some things straight here. If you don’t listen to me, then things like this are going to happen. And it is going to jeopardize your chances of marrying my brother, and you have been calling Eva lately why the change?”.

“But why me?, there are girls that can be able to do that for you in two days time. And I heard your brother call you that and I knew that it was your real name” Mia asked, she was getting tired of the whole stuff.

“Because you owe me” replied Eva.

“Okay, then tell me how else I can repay you other than this?”

“There is no other way, you have do this” Eva insisted.

Mia took a deep breath and closed her eyes praying that this would be a very terrible nightmare and she can’t wait to wake up.

“You have to accept it or I can promise you that Lucius will kill you” she began.

“What !” Mia looked at her with horror.

“Yeah, he hates women and you just crossed the line. The next one will cost you your life. He gave you a second chance because you are connected to me” she explained.

“This wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t set me up, are you sure you want your brother to actually marry?”.

“Yes, I do and you are going to help me but first you must listen and do everything I tell you” Eva instructed.

When Mia didn’t reply she added, “ I will help you get revenge on your ex-boyfriend, the jerk who framed you”

Justin, Mia’s ex-boyfriend and the one who framed her for crime she knew nothing about, Mia recalled the unapologetic expression on his face as he insisted that she was a drug dealer.

Does she want revenge on him?, of course yes, she was going to teach him a lesson he won’t forget in this lifetime and the next.

“Fine, I will accept the deal because of the condition but I want it written on paper” Mia agreed.

“Of course, I will rewrite the contract, in the meantime let me get you started on the personality of Lucius Loveto” Eva said and they began walking away.

On their way, Eva began filling her on the information about her brother while they walked.

“So you are saying that your brother has never dated?” Mia asked, the information was very surprising to her,

“Yes, but you are going to change it” Eva said.

“Okay, then. But have you ever investigated to know if he was attracted to guys?” she asked.

“He is not, I assure you that” Eva replied.

They have now arrived at the part of the house where they were staying, “let’s have breakfast, you must be starving” .

Eva then led her to another dining room, when they entered there the first thing Mia’s eyes went to were the windows which were overlooking a beautiful garden just like the other dining room.

There were beautiful and ethereal chandeliers hanging from the ceilings and the wall was also decorated with hand-drawn beautiful paintings.

The only difference between this dining room and the other one was that this one has model-like pictures of Eva pasted all over the wall.

“Are just going to stand there?” Eva asked ,Mia who was just standing staring around the place.

Mia went to the dining table and sat down, the table was smaller than the one at the other place too.

“So my brother and I have our own private dining room and gardens” Eva explained.

Oh, that explains a lot of things, you guys must be very rich to be able to afford that, Mia thought in her head.

Just then the door opened and maids swarmed into the room each carrying a tray containing food, they all kept the arranged the food on the table and left.

Mia’s mouth watered as she stared at the food, she took a deep breath smelling the aroma of the food.

“Dig in”

Without wasting time she started eating, the food was so delicious that she thought she was floating on the air.

“There something I need to tell you, it is a secret that most people don’t know” Eva began.

“Huh” Mia muttered with her mouth full.

“We are the owner of the LOVA mafia group” she dropped the bombshell.
