Kabanata 31

It's been a week since I accidentally heard their conversation. I don't know how to react after hearing that so I stayed in my room for the whole week to avoid interacting with Tita Loren.  

She tried to talk to me but I always say, “I'm not feeling well po, Tita. I will talk to you kapag okay na po ako” and she understands. 

Minsan nagi-guilty na ako sa ginagawa ko lalo na kapag nakikita ko ang malungkot niyang mukha. 

I sighed before going out of my room. 

“Good morning, Nana,” I said as I hugged her from the back. 

“Oh! Himala lumabas ka? Okay ka na ba?”  

Humarap siya sa akin at hinaplos ang buhok ko. I smiled cutely at her. 

“Nana, nasa'n po iyong anak niyo?” I whispered.
