Chapter Six

Lena’s POV

My eyes are fixed on the gate of “The Manor” the estate owned by David, as I nervously chew my lips awaiting the return of David.

Though I’ve meticulously thought out my plan on addressing him I can’t help but feel nervous at the reception I’ll receive. Anyone would feel nervous in my shoes but I have no other choice but to take this opportunity. If I miss my chance now, I may never get an opportunity to approach him.

The black limousine drives towards the gate and like a person possessed I run towards the gate, my hair flying in all directions.

In a state of panic I stand in between the car and the gate and in that moment I realise that my thought out plan is not as thought out as I’d like it to be.

For starters I’d like to look presentable in front of Him, not that I’d like him to take an interest in me but he should at least think that I’m sane.
