They all arrived at the pack and Zarek was standing at the parking lot because he wanted to drive out not until he saw Luca’s car he had to wait.

Mara and Nina stepped down from the car and then they walked slowly towards Zarek. They both knew he would ask them questions but they were prepared.

“Nina…” Zarek called, his voice deep and husky, his gaze on the both of them.

“Alpha.” Nina greeted, acting like she didn't know why Zarek called her name.

“Where did you two go this morning? I asked the maid to check on you but you were missing. Where is Evelyn?” Zarek asked.

Nina and Mara glared at each other. “We left together this morning and she asked us to step down from her car. She is probably at the ca—.” Nina said but then the sound of Evelyn’s car stopped them.

They planned on telling Zarek the whole truth because Evelyn made them get down from her car.

Evelyn stepped down from her car, she brought out a box from the back seat and then gave Zarek a warm smile.

SELENEZarek just stood there with his hand behind his back, watching me like I was something fragile, but not weak. Never weak.“I’m dead serious. I didn’t poison her,” I said again, my voice firmer this time.He just smirked. “I know. Don’t force yourself to convince me.” He said then he poured himself a cup of wine.I shifted uncomfortably on the bed. That smile was so calm, so unreadable, it made my stomach twist. Was he testing me? Or had he already made up his mind?I folded my arms tightly across my chest. “No. It seems like people aren’t believing me. They want to use this to strip me of everything, my title, my place and my voice. But I’m not going to let anyone exile me this time.” I looked him dead in the eyes. “I’m standing my ground, just so they know I am not the same Luna I was before. Now I have something to protect.”Zarek didn’t respond immediately. Just tilted his head slightly, his lips curved into that unreadable half-smile. Like he was waiting for something.Like

SELENE“Are you threatening me?” Evelyn asked, her gaze locked on mine.I smirked. “It sounds like that, right?”Then I snapped my fingers lightly in front of her face. “Then maybe it’ll happen in reality. Just be good, okay?” I said, tapping her shoulder with two fingers. Her body flinched. And then, like a puppet whose strings had just been cut, Evelyn collapsed.I didn’t move. Didn’t blink. She hit the floor with a dull thud, her limbs limp, head rolling sideways as her eyes fluttered shut.A second of silence. Then chaos.“Beta Evelyn!”Two figures sprinted down the hallway. Her maids, Vivian and Clara, skirts lifted, eyes wide with panic. They dropped beside her, voices choked with terror. “Wake up! Please, Beta Evelyn!”“She’s not breathing right,” Clara gasped. Then both women turned their wide, accusing eyes on me.“What did you do to her, Luna?” Vivian shouted, voice cracking.I didn’t answer. Because I didn’t know what to say. My mind was spinning. I looked down at Evelyn, h

SELENEThe tires crunched against the gravel as Evelyn drove through the wrought-iron gates of the Dark Vale compound. They shut behind her with a metallic groan, sealing her in like a prisoner returning to her cage. Her car rolled to a stop outside the mansion—cold stone, regal windows, towering silence.I watched her from the steps. She just sat there for a moment, white-knuckled on the steering wheel, staring at the house like it might swallow her whole. Her scent hit me before she even stepped out.Faint, but different.Something sharp beneath her usual layers—fear, desperation… and something else I couldn’t place yet. Then Zarek was beside me. He moved fast, eyes locked on her like he already sensed something was wrong. He reached her before she even killed the engine.“You look pale,” he said.I watched her blink up at him, like she’d just realized he was there. She fumbled for her bag. Her fingers froze briefly—then she yanked her hand away like she’d touched fire.“I better he

SILVERMIST PACKEvelyn stretched like a satisfied cat across the rumpled hotel sheets, smug and radiant in the early light. But Lucien didn’t look at her the same way he had hours ago.He wasn’t touching her. He wasn’t even looking at her.He was just quiet. She sat up slowly, brushing sweat-damp hair from her face. “Alright, what is it now? Regret finally caught up with you?”Lucien didn’t respond. He just reached for something beside the nightstand, a sleek black phone she hadn’t noticed before. He tapped the screen once, then turned it toward her.Evelyn froze. The video was clear. Very clear to see. The angles were very perfect. Her face tilted back in pleasure, her moans were loud enough to hear, her body laid bare beneath him.“No…” she breathed, voice cracking. “You didn’t—”“I did,” he said calmly. “From the moment I saw you walk into that club, I knew tonight I could use you to my advantage.”Her skin went cold despite the warmth in the room. “You bastard, you set me up.”Lu

SILVERMIST PACK The club was loud. Neon lights stuttered across Lucien’s face like judgment. The bass throbbed in his chest, but it wasn’t enough to drown out the voice in his head. You finally have an heir… You brought this on yourself. He downed another glass. Whiskey. Vodka. Something. He didn’t ask. Didn’t care. His tie hung loose around his neck, shirt unbuttoned at the collar, eyes bloodshot and burning. He hadn’t come here to think. He came to forget. And that’s when he saw her.She leaned against the far wall like sin incarnate—Evelyn. Zarek’s Beta. Ice-blonde hair swept over one shoulder, red lips parting slowly as she met his gaze. There was no greeting. No smile.Just the kind of stare a predator gives another when they’ve both tasted loss.Lucien stood slowly and walked over. She didn’t move, didn’t blink.“What a shame,” she said quietly, her voice wrapped in smoke. “The mighty Alpha… replaced by his own mates.”Lucien’s jaw tightened. “Don’t start.”“I’m not starting an

SILVERMIST PACKThe morning sun spilled through the tall windows like golden lies. The packhouse was too quiet. Unnaturally so.Lucien sat at the head of the long oak dining table, hands folded, jaw tight. Mira, as always, occupied the Luna’s seat to his right—back straight, lips painted in soft rouge, as if last night’s storm had never touched her. But Lucien couldn’t stop glancing her way. Something about her stillness felt… wrong.Stephanie entered last, hair brushed smooth, wearing a cream-colored dress that clung modestly to her slightly rounded belly. She paused before the table.“Good morning, everyone,” she said, her voice carrying a strange confidence.Lucien’s eyes flicked up. Mira barely turned her head.Stephanie stepped forward, preparing to sit.“Hold on.” Mira’s voice was calm but sharp as glass. “When did you start sitting at the table with us?”“I asked her to,” Lucien said before Stephanie could respond.Stephanie’s smirk was almost shy as she took her seat beside hi
