Dominic

After dinner, when I went downstairs, I found Mom sitting with Julia in the living room in front of the television.

“Where did you learn your culinary skills?” Mom asked her as they sipped some drinks, both looking relaxed in each other’s company.

Julia hesitated, glancing my way discreetly. “I learned it from my nanny. She was the one who brought me up.”

“I can see she’s done a good job. So, do you live with your parents?” Mom was her chatty self, and I could see the discomfort in Julia’s gaze.

She glanced in my direction as I entered their space. My body immediately reacted to her. Images of her checking me out in my bedroom flashed across my mind, arousing me again. It was impossible to stay immune anymore.

I had to get away. Yet I wanted to hear their conversation. I wanted to see how Julia manipulated my mom’s mind. She was tough, and no one had done so before. Then how did Julia fool her?

I poured myself a glass of wine and sat down at the bar, swiping my phone to messag

Dominic I was clueless now. Where would I look for her? Did she go to Brynne’s house? I messaged Lucien. Has Julia Mitchell gone to your house? – Dominic. I knew it sounded creepy, but I was desperate to know. Immediately my phone buzzed, and I groaned. Why? Did you chase her in your dreams all night, bro? – Lucien. I rolled my eyes, having expected that comeback. They knew how uncomfortable I was with women. Yet they never gave up a chance to pull my legs. Yes, you wish. So? Is she there or not? – Dominic. No, she isn’t here or at Daniella’s house. Good luck finding her. – Lucien.I sat in my car in a dazed state. What would I do now? Where would I look for Julia? I drove home feeling lost when an idea struck me. I could go to her office and meet her. She would surely be at her workplace. I felt restless when I returned home empty-handed. My mom and Diego would surely drive me crazy. How could I avoid them? But the moment I walked in, my phone buzzed with a call from Denver’s

DominicThe cops left, and I glared at my son as he hung his head in shame. He knew what he had done. Freddie Smith, his dedicated chauffeur, had reached his school, but Diego refused to return home with him. Instead, he left for his best friend’s house for a night's stay. “I’m so disappointed in you, Diego. If you had wanted to spend time with your best friend, you could have asked for my permission, right?” I glanced at his friend, Denver Storme, who held hands with my son like a partner in his crime. With both pre-teens alone at his house, it was such a dangerous situation. What would I have done if Freddie hadn’t followed Diego from school? After the cops arrested Julia, Freddie visited me to update me about Diego. I wished Freddie had come earlier before I unnecessarily accused an innocent woman. But Freddie had met with an accident on his way back. He couldn’t have come earlier. “As if you’d agree, Dad. Yet I called you.” Diego still couldn’t look at me. “I’ve received no c

Julietta / JuliaGuilt and concern had me tongue-tied, and I went into panic mode. How had I been so callous? How could I forget my son? Diego’s helpless face swam across my mind, and tears pooled in my eyes. I couldn’t keep the nasty thoughts at bay. What if anything untoward happened to him?“Oh, I’m so sorry, Mr. Sylvester. I’ll try his number. No, I’ll go to his school and ask the guards there. I’m sure they’ll know his whereabouts.” I picked up my phone to call him, but Mr. Sylvester intervened.“That’s enough. You can take your fake concern elsewhere. Do you think I haven’t tried his number?” He held out Diego’s phone. “He left it at home.”I panicked more, holding onto my throbbing head. I would go crazy if I didn’t find him. “Oh, then I’m going to his school. We have to find him, Mr. Sylvester.” The tears streamed down my cheeks as I whirled around to rush to the elevator. He lunged forward and grabbed hold of my wrist to stop me. “You’ve done enough harm, Julia Mitchell. I’ll

Julietta / Julia I drove over to my office after dropping Diego off at his school. He insisted on going with me instead of in his chauffeur-driven luxury car! I was apprehensive about my second-hand Toyota that belonged to Alan. Strangely, Diego didn’t mind, and I relaxed a little. He wasn’t judgmental like the rich youngsters of his age. Despite hailing from such an affluent family, he appreciated relationships more than wealth. Being with him made me feel like a parent. I might not be his biological mother, yet I could feel a connection to him. It felt like I wasn’t alone anymore. I had someone to call my own - a beautiful son who loved me despite everything. I hadn’t encouraged him at all. Yet he considered me his mom. Like a divine miracle, we were connected. He was my boy. After the lunch break, Jake Martin, the marketing manager’s PA, came over to my cubicle. “Ms. Mitchell, Mr. Murphy wants you in his office right now,” he announced. “What’s this all about?” I was immedia

  • A Deal With The Devil   Book 3: Chapter Ten  - How To Get Her Out Of My System?

Dominic “Why do you want me to stay with you, Mr. Sylvester?” She gave me a confused look. It was quite natural after the way I manhandled her in front of her flatmates. In fact, I had closed all her avenues of going back to the apartment. I could sense her embarrassment. Strangely, it didn’t make me feel guilty. I was glad she had no other place to go! I wasn’t an evil man. Then why was I being a tool with her? “Diego is giving my family a difficult time. He has locked himself in his room. He even refused to see me when I returned from work. So..” I couldn’t say the rest. I wanted her to stay with us for a few days until we both could get her out of our system for good. “So you wanted to make amends to him? But wouldn’t it encourage him?” She looked confused. I frowned, not liking her interrogation. I couldn’t tell her my real reason. “A few days won’t matter. It will make him realize how illogical his expectations are.” She turned away, looking hurt. Well, I had been honest abo
