Zelena.
My body lurched forward again, and I reappeared in the lounge room. The sun was shining through the front window. Beer bottles and empty takeaway containers littered the floor. Sitting in the middle of the room was me, only now I was older, possibly five or six. I was holding a small dirty and raggedy looking doll to my face. Tears fell down my chubby cheeks as I cried, calling out for my Daddy to come back. This must have been one of the many times that Hank disappeared for days on end, leaving me without food or means to look after myself. Selene appeared in front of the little me and I stopped crying instantly, launching myself into her arms.
“Mumma, I’m hungry” little me cried. I called her ‘Mumma’. I don’t remember that. I don’t remember having a mother, or even thinking that I had a mother. Selene pulled me from her arms and sat me back on the ground. She waved her hands in front of her and a plate of meat and vegetables appeared. L

Zelena.“You let him access your power, didn’t you?” I asked, turning to look at her again.“It is not my power, child, it is yours”“But you gave it to me”“I did”“So, you did, you let him access it, through me”. She smiled and turned her body to face me, still holding my hand firmly in her lap.“I gave you the power, it was destined to be yours. Did I know that he would be able to use it through your bond? Yes. But the choice to let him access it, was always your own”.“You aren’t mad?”“Of course not, child” she smiled and squeezed my hand. I knew that Gunner and I were more than Mates, more than True Mates. We were destined. Made for each other. Even after all that, there was one thing that was bothering me. Something Selene said that has been repeating itself in my head.“You said I’ve been here before?” I said while watching her large white eyes.&nbs
Zelena.I feel warm. Not that the air is hot, it actually feels cool and calming against my skin. But on the inside, my chest, my stomach, my cheeks, they all feel wonderfully warm and cosy. I opened my eyes and sat upright. I was in the forest. But this is not the forest around the pack lands, it looks the same, but not. I was back in the white forest, the same one from my dream. As I slowly stood up, I looked down at myself. I was wearing the same clothes, the silk skirt and soft cami, only now they were crystal white and shimmering in the light, and my feet were bare. I started to walk through the trees. My body was on autopilot, going exactly where it needed to go. The field of white flowers came into view, and as before, the figure of the beautiful woman sat in the middle. I walked over and sat down beside her. All the while my eyes were completely entranced by her celestial beauty. She turned to look at me and smiled sweetly. I gasped audibly. I d
Lunaya. It was another day and a half until Alyse flashed to tell me that the Goddess was awake again and coming back to the village. We had maintained our rotation of guards at the hut the whole time. There was no trouble and no further signs or Ferals. Perhaps that one was just a random one-off. A lot of the diplomats chose to return to their homes. All except for Alpha Ambrose and his men from Lua Chei, the Alpha Lace and some of his men from Howlers, and Alpha Travis from Waning Wolf. The novelty of members of the mythical Luna Eclipse being around didn’t die off. The she-wolves were enthralled and constantly close by, trying to work up the courage to approach. Cleo quickly became known as a no-go-zone. With her almost constant wolf form and the growling and snarling at anyone who tried to talk to her, they all soon learned to keep clear. The guardian Tobias is an interesting creature. He is fiercely protective of the Goddess, this became evi
Lunaya.“Yes, I told you, he is listening” Cole said as he tapped the side of his head. “And did he feel it too? Did he feel her presence?” the same Were asked again. “He is not sure, but would believe it if Artemis agrees”. All eyes turned back to Artemis, who just nodded his head. I grabbed hold of Elaine’s shoulder and pulled her across to my face. I pressed my cheek to hers and whispered softly into her ear, “When we arrived at the border, I told Alyse that I could feel magic in the air”. “And you didn’t think to mention this before” Elaine hissed back, “I didn’t think it was relevant before. It’s not just that, I think she spoke to me. I heard a voice in the wind that was telling me to go to her. That was right before we ran to the village and found it in chaos. The Moon Goddess was there, she told me to find our daughter” I said with assurance. Elaine sat back and stared at me wide eyed. I couldn't tell if it was disbelief or admiration on her face. “Ahem” a sound caught o
Lunaya.I had gotten so caught up in studying the giant Were, that I had lost track of the back and forth conversation around the table. As I forced myself to concentrate again, I caught on to the fact that the visiting diplomats were upset that Tri-Moon didn’t realize that their Luna was going into heat. They argued amongst themselves that they had no way of knowing and that she didn’t show any signs. After someone asked why this was the first heat of such magnitude, my interest peeked, it was a question I had asked myself. “That, we don’t know” Cole answered him. “How could you not know?” the older Were snapped back. “She was in a coma for three fucking months, it’s the first heat since then. We just didn’t fucking know. How many more times can I say it” Cole roared and slammed his fists onto the table. A coma? How did we not hear of this already? I jumped to my feet and glared at Cole. “Why was she in a coma?” I demanded. Elaine lifted her hand and took hold of my forearm. “Th
