CHAPTER TWENTY THREE

Dinner was going on smoothly, they all chatted and laughed as they ate and passed different dishes of food from one person to another to take a second or third serving until they had had their fill and packed the empty plates, stacking them up in the sink for Audrey and James to wash together while Williams dried them up with a towel before arranging them on the rack. Dominic and Samantha cleaned up the dining room, picking up bits of dirt here and there and throwing them in the trash bags in their hands while giving each other kisses all over their faces in between.

Dominic had dismissed the maids earlier, including Ferdinand too because he wanted them to rest early for the night since the dinner could drag on for long. So he, his friends and Samantha were going to clean up themselves.

They finished and all washed up their hands in the kitchen before the men excused themselves to have some time together, leaving Samantha and Audrey alone to get to know each other more.
