Chapter One Hundred and Five

I sat in silence as I watched the movie playing on the TV. Sienna was beside me. Her head was resting on my chest, and my arm was wrapped around her.

As much as she wanted to watch a movie, she was so exhausted so she fell asleep just like I knew she would. I didn't move where I was and instead, I was enjoying a bit of peace.

The last couple of days had been calm and quiet. Sienna's leg was looking much better, and she could now walk without her crutch.

I absentmindedly rubbed circles on her arm as I thought about Rocco. I did try to call him but he didn't pick up, and I also sent him a couple of texts, which he didn't respond to.

Sienna was growing more and more worried. Fucking hell, all he had to do was reassure her that he was all right. I didn't want her getting stressed over every problem because of her condition, but I understood what he was going through. He was going through betrayal, a it was the worst type because he was in love with Maya.
