Chapter 2

I woke up with a banging headache that even opening my eyes felt like hell. I sat up from the bed. Wait, bed? how did I get on the bed? The last I remember was in the club, My head started to hurt like hell when I started to think, I clasped my hand over my head and shut my eyes close but then I noticed something, I was naked! why was I naked? I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at my surroundings, ignoring the buzzing pain in my head where the fuck am I? I heard a low grunt beside me and I turned to check what was making the sound, my eyes widen as soon as I saw what it was, A human being. more specific explanation. Mr hot specimen. oh My fuck! what the fuck did I do? I groaned and the man changed positions and I froze. get out of here now!! that was the only thing on my mind immediately looked around for my clothes and immediately saw them scattered on the floor. My eyes widen slightly and I got off the bed still naked but thankfully Mr hot specimen was still sleeping. I could feel some kind of pain from my insides that I immediately understood why, but I gathered enough strength and wore my clothes, I looked at the man again and sighed. Gotta get out of here! my subconscious snapped at me and I shook my head again to clear my thoughts. I searched around for my phone and immediately saw it laying beneath the table, I took it out and walked out of the room, I could tell that I was in a hotel so I made my way out of the place. How the fuck am I supposed to get home? why in the world did Eva allow me go out of the club with a stranger? I thought and groaned internally. I turned on my phone and just immediately Eva's call came in "Hello." I---" What the flying fuck is wrong with you Adeline? do you know how worried I was about you? This is 10 am and I was already planning on going to file a report. Why did you have to leave without telling me? I was so fucking worried especially when I found out you left with the dude from last night, It was his first time in the club Adele and no one knew him." She rushed out and I sighed "I am on my way home, come over..' I said and cut the call. Eva is three years older than me and she feels responsible for me which is why she goes crazy whenever she can't hear from me. I checked my jean pocket to see if I have any change so I could at least get home but of course no. My life is still a mess and I am still as broke as a church rat. I dialed Eva's number again and she picked up almost immediately. "Uh...Eva, I do not have money to get home." I said and heard her groan "Where are you, Adele? I am coming to pick you up right away." She said and I looked around for a landmark or street name "Houston, Houston avenue." I replied and she cut the call. Now when you heard her say she was coming to pick me up then you would think she was coming in a car or something but No! My best friend actually has this scooter she is awfully proud of and goes everywhere with it. I looked back at the hotel I was standing at the front and immediately moved away from it as fast as I could. I waited under a shade for Eva to come and just about two minutes later, my phone started to ring and I picked it to see that it was Eva calling. 'I'm on Houston avenue, where are you?" she asked and I looked around to see a landmark "Adeline? for fucks sake where the hell are you?" Eva yelled and I squinted my eyes "will you freaking calm down and stop yelling." I snapped at her "Oh I can see you, come forward a bit." she said and got out of the shade, she started to wave at the street and soon the scooter halted right in front of her. "Adeline fucking Monteiro! you deserve to be spanked as hell." Eva said as she removed the helmet from her head. "Yeah, yeah. you can spank me later but for now, I will appreciate it if we leave this place right now." I told her and got on the back while she rolled her eyes, putting the helmet back on her head. "You will definitely get spanked missy." She said and I rolled my eyes "Oh please," I muttered and we started to drive away. 

A while later I got home with Eva who would not stop lecturing me "Uh, I think you are missing something here, you gave me those drinks and asked me to let loose and forget my problems for one night and now that I did exactly as you said, you have a problem with it?" I snapped and she sighed "You very well know that is not what I meant so why are you saying that?" "You think? I got drunk after drinking and I am sure you know just how low my alcohol tolerance level is but here you are lecturing me?" I said and she sighed " I am sorry I made you feel that way because I didn't mean to. I was genuinely worried about you but I went about it the wrong way, I am sorry." she said and I smiled "I am sorry too but I can tell you that I was totally out of my control, I can't even remember what happened last night, all I remember is Mr hot specimen came to meet me and that was it, I woke up this morning with pains in a hotel room." She said as she opened the door to her house. "Wait? you really can't remember what happened to you? you can't remember what you did with him?" She asked again and I nodded, locking the door behind me and kicking my sandals off. Eva collapsed on the bed and I smiled "This is bad, this is bad." She said and I raised my eyebrows "What is bad?" I asked and she sighed, placing her hand against her head "You got such an opportunity with such a handsome, sexy, ravishing, delicious, breathtaking---" I rolled my eyes with her description " Okay, I get it but what is your point exactly?" I asked and she groaned, getting up from the bed, she pulled my hand and dragged my hand "You won't get another opportunity than him, seeing how bad your sex life is but here you are, You don't even remember what happened." She said and I rolled my eyes. 'Stop being so dramatic Eva, you can only criticize me when you actually do hook up with Bounty, but if not, shut it." I said, Eva opened her mouth to talk but she was interrupted. *Knock knock* We heard someone knock at my door and my eyes widen. "Who is it?" Eva mouthed at me and I shrugged. 'Adeline, I am here for my money so come out this minute, I know you are home now." I heard Mr. Wendy's voice and I froze "Oh my fucking fuck.!" I whispered and looked at Eva alarmed "Come out now Adeline and pay me my money!
