I opened my eyes and shut them close again, it was too damn bright. I sat up on the bed.

Wait, bed?

My head pounded immediately, I clasped my hand over my head, trying to regulate the pain,  oh shit.

“Eva! Eva, you good?” I whispered, talking too loud is literally a death sentence, I groaned and looked beside me. A bottle of painkillers was there with a bottle of water.

Ah, thank goodness.

I plopped the cover open and dumped the pills in my palms, reaching for the bottle of water and drank it.
