51-Just a dream

Ian was preparing for work early the next morning when his mother walked into his room. He gazed at her with a hint of suspicion in his eyes. His mother hasn't walked into his room for years.

"Are you looking for something, mum?" he asked as he picked up his suitcase.

"Well," she seemed to hesitate and then said "The servant were discussing about a woman you brought home the other day."

".." Ian was left speechless. He had carried a drunken Sam to his house with the idea that everyone was asleep.

"She was drunk," he gave a casual dismissal "I couldn't get her to give her house address so I had no other option than to bring her here."

"I'm not saying you did wrong, dear," she immediately got close to him and began to fix his tie "Infact, you did a good job. It's been years since you last brought a woman to the house. I see you have made progress from your heartbreak."
