"She's Kevin Kord's wife!" said Sam, "Don't speak to her in that manner!"

Amelia appeared shocked. She gazed even more irritatingly at Karen and regained her composure.

"Let me guess," she chuckled, "You got Kevin by deceitful means, didn't you? You both are shameless and would not leave rich men alone!"

She glared at Sam, "Your friend might have succeeded in getting Kevin but as long as I live you will never have Ian! Mark my words!"

"Miss Smith," Karen stepped forward, "Stop being insecure. My friend has no intentions of being with Ian. You should tell your fiancee to stay away instead."

"Is that so?" Amelia smirked, "Have you asked her why she was on his bed a month ago?! Despite knowing that he belonged to me she threw herself at him shamelessly! If she stops casting her eyes towards Ian he would stop thinking about her!"

"Besides, why is she in the same hotel as him, huh?"

"This was Kevin's doing," answered Karen.

"I don't care!" Amelia shrieked, "As long as she is closer to Ian

    A week later, the Kords welcomed the baby home. His huge blue orbs staring at every hands that touched him. Karen never thought she'd ever see the child she had successfully carried.     The entire family lapsed into silence. No one ever expected that Zachary would take such a step. Asides from Aunt Maya and Kevin, the rest were surprised to know that Zachary has always been in love with Karen. Kevin walks up to Aunt Maya and places a hand on her shoulder as she weeps. He whispers, "I'm so sorry, Aunt." Everyone tried to console Aunt Maya but she did not stop crying. No one could ever understand her pain. Kevin understood the reason Zachary had come to meet earlier that day, asking him to take care of Karen. Kevin shuts his eyes and says a short prayer for Zachary.
