“Excuse me!” Carolina interrupted her before she could go any further.
Her ex turned and looked at her then. His expression was that of a caught rat.
"Slut." Trish spit at Carolina.
"What did you just say?" She asked her, already knowing what was said.

She scoffed at the ironic remark. Carolina said nothing else, just picked up her keys and walked past her, making sure to shoulder shrug Trish hard enough to watch her falter as she exited Russ' home.
