It's been days since what happened had happened. I had taken zero action, and had not arrived at a reasonable conclusion.

Right now, I was sitting on the ice. For the past days, this had been my regular place.

I felt like being here would help me cool off some of this heat that was now always in my chest. Maybe coming here would help me ease some of this discomfort.

For the past days, I had seen Skyler on a few occasions, one of them being at practice. Yes. He still had the audacity to roam the school, come for practice.

But whenever he came, I decided not to play. There was no way I was going to be on the ice with an enemy of the pack.

I got to a class where he was at, and I left.

I wasn't afraid of being in the same space as him. Neither was it like I was avoiding him.

Nah.

I just wanted to give it space until I figured it out—like really… figured out what to do with him.

But as the days passed by, and more days came in, I didn't know what to do. I wasn't figuring shit out.
