Sky

Cheers!!! We echoed, raising the red plastic cup in our hand.

“To the Wolves on Ice!!!” someone shouted.

“Wolves on Ice!!!!” Everyone screamed.

The game was finally over, the score was 4-0. And that was because I let it remain so. Four goals were already so much of a victory, especially when our opponents were the same number behind. Let the loss be minimal. Especially for old time’s sake. I didn't want to humiliate the team so much. Save for when they had a return match with us.

The crowd cheered and my name was chanted both by our own audience and some unbiased Northfield fans. After the game, our opponents glared at us with so much hate. Especially Mason… that one. His stare was so hard that if it were a gun, I should have been dead four hours ago.

My brain instantly went to what had happened on that ice and I smiled just thinking of it. That sweet memory had successfully rented an apartment in my brain. Because what the fuck!

The way Riven had just come from nowhere and owned

Sky.Cheers!!!!“To coach!!” someone shouted.“To coach!!!” the crowd echoed.Toasting to the celebration of our coach’s birthday.Yes, it was his birthday and everything had gone as planned. The main event was over and it was now time for partying.Although the main event had trainers of caliber in attendance, here, however, was just students.A rowdy environment. Drinks, more drinks, music blasting loud. So loud that you could not even hear yourself.I was standing by the bar, drink in hand. I had done a lot of this drinking today and it was almost telling on me.Suddenly, my wolf stirred in the very familiar way.My head snapped to the entrance. And I saw him. Riven.Looking like his status. Corporate. Besides him was that Luna chick, smiling like a sheep. She’s been there with him throughout the main event and here.I scoffed. Disgusting. It’s been 3 days since I last saw Riven.Ok… not really 3 days because I saw him yesterday. But it was from a distance.I haven't gotten the cha

Sky.Yes I was normal. And thing that I was doing wasnt the reason why I came here. “Yes.” I answered. “I am normal And any normal person like me should know that I didn't come here just to learn how to breathe.” I shot.He released a breath. Looking at me for a while, his arms folded on his chest. “So why are you here?” He asked.“Because of you.” I responded. With a calm grin. He looked at me for a moment longer then shook his head in disappointment. Before —“Skyler. Do you remember that you are the only non shifters in Silverfangs level four?” He asked I nodded “yes I do.”“Do you remember that you have been assigned a trainer under the alpha of Silverfangs?”I nodded “yes I do.”He breathed. Adjusting his radar. “Close your eyes. Young man.”“No.” I countered. “There's no way I'm doing that nonsense again.”I saw squint his eyes. I knew I was getting on his last nerve right now. But I wasn't about to give up. I can't come all the way here just for some goddamed concentration.

Sky.It was already 6 p.m. After hours of jumping from one lecture hall to another, I was finally going to the most anticipated class of the day.Funny how I was almost speeding out of my last class to this place.Believe me, I don't know what I was doing with Riven. I don't know what this shit we were doing was all about, but I didn't want to stress it because whatever this was, it felt good. It gave me a sense of relief — a kind of relief that I haven't felt for a long, long time. And if I could, I would love to have this for a while until fate says it was time up.I got to the building. This time I wasn't with the card, because he hadn't given me one. So I wondered how my entry would look like today.“Hello…” I greeted the guard at the entrance with a smile on.“Your name?” he asked, voice firm.“Skyler Gale,” I responded, the stupid smile disappearing. He looked into a book in his hand. It seemed like my name was registered there.“Follow me,” he said, turning towards the door. Th

Riven.I turned to him, giving him a death glare.“Stiles. Do you value your head?”“Yes, Alpha, I do.”“Do you still value your position as a Beta in Silverfangs?”“Yes, Alpha, I do.”“Do you still value your stay at Silverfangs?”“Yes, Alpha, I do.”“One more word about what you saw today, all these things you hold dear would be stripped off. And that includes your dumb head,” I said, hitting his head with my palm.“Ouch,” he said in between chuckles. “Yes, Alpha, my mouth is permanently sealed.” He motioned a closed zip gesture on his lips.A small smile formed on my face.“Now, why did you come to me so early?” I asked, looking at the trainer who was still teaching.“I dropped a message. Didn't you see it?” he asked, turning briefly to me.“Oh yea… I did. I saw it,” I stated. “But I don't think you were serious.”He jerked back. “You think I'm joking?”“No. I know you are joking. Because how?”He turned to me, adjusting his collar boastfully. “You don't need to be surprised, Alpha

Riven.I was leaning against the doorframe of this class for at least three minutes. It seemed like I had come earlier than I ought to, and now I had to wait for the class to end.“This class is dismissed,” the trainer announced.I could hear a few whispers from the girls there.“That's the Alpha. He is here for her.”“Awwwn… so cute.”And all those silly things they always cooed.Yes, you guessed right. I was at Lara's class, waiting for her to finish.Don't ask me why I came here because I cannot tell why myself.I honestly didn't want to be here. And I am certainly not here because I so much cherish the relationship we had.But then, Lara is a good person, and… I shouldn't blame her for being so invested in this whole responsibility and duty thing.I feel like we are in this together. Her family, just like mine, had shoved this stuff down her throat, and she had lived to accept it—fully accepting it. Unlike me. And… I feel like she doesn't have a choice, maybe? My words towards her

Riven. My eyes, dull and heavy, tried to open themselves.Fuck. It was morning already. The brightness, which had successfully trespassed the curtain, hit my eyes.I rolled to my side, and something stopped me.What is—Oh…The memory of last night came flooding back. I closed my eyes again, wanting to relax for a bit before fully waking up.Then,••Riven!••••Riven!•••The familiar voice, loud and jarring, sounded loud in my head.It was Stiles.I was about to respond when—••Riven, I'm at the door. Open the door, or I'm coming inside.••My heavy eyes snapped open at the word ‘coming inside.’My head turned to my side…Sky.He was lying there peacefully, his face calm and innocent, covered halfway with the duvet.••Riven, I'm coming inside!•• he announced inside my head.Stiles was really coming inside. And did I mention he had the code to my suite door?Fuck! My eyes went to the floor—black pants, black briefs, my robe, my shorts. Then I heard the door click open.“Skyler!” I tapped
