Chapter 28 - Panic
Damon's P.O.V
My mind had been punishing me as of late, playing the previous day’s events on repeat. Seeing Sera, our mate, in all her glory. Her perfectly curved body just begging to be touched, she smooth skin under my own. The way her lips kissed mine, hungry and longingly. That moment when I connected with her, finally claiming my mate as mine. It had been perfect, it had been everything I had hoped and more. And yet… she had almost rejected me… How? How could my mate even give that a thought? I had wanted nothing more than to run to her room, to beg and plead for her to just give me a chance. To show her that I truly loved her.
“She still thinks as a human.”
