“Star?”

I called inwards, she had been quiet for too long. Leaving me here truly alone. In this cold darkened place, I’d only had my wolf for such a short time and yet I couldn’t handle the thought of being alone again. I shook my arms as the metal shackles holding me against the wall made a clinking sound. My body was sore, it felt as though I had been running for days. My skin was flushed, bruised and my hair had matted already. The cage door opened as a monster of a man entered, he was built like one of those bodybuilders from T.V. I felt my heart flutter in fear as his eyes glowed a bright red, he smirked at me.

“It’s not very often we get dogs here.”

His tone was cold and collected, almost business-like which was terrifying. He smirked at me before raising an eyebrow in confusion.

“And yet… you don’t smell like the usual ones…”

He bent down to rummage
