Chapter 8: He was faking it.
~Liam’s POV~
As we reached the church I opened the door for her and offered my hand to her; it was just game I was faking it obviously.
Her face looked sour with tear marks dried on her cheeks. She took my hand. Is she expecting something from me? She shouldn’t do that it will hurt her after that.
We walked through the hallway and reached the place where the priest stood waiting for us. The priest looked at Cassie and asked in astonishment “Is she ready? “Umm yeah absolutely yeah she is ready. Right Cassie”

~Cassie’s POV~ I was driving home and Liam had already fallen asleep on the passenger’s seat. I was thinking about what Liam had said to me. I was shocked and taken a back. How does he even know my family? Still in a dilemma I drove through the streets of the emptied road, which was no lesser then a horror movie because it was almost 8:30 p.m. This place is abandoned and is known for eerie and uncanny thieves roaming around at night. It was a creepy looking street with broken street lamps, few could be seen with dim lights. Oh God knows; how much I am scared of being robbed and maybe worse can happen because the thieves here are very weird. I’ve read stories about this deserted place. Some who have experienced and have been robbed say that they look like ghosts and are really scary in appearance. One lady said that one man here tried to rape her but fortunately she escaped through the help of her friend who was also trapped here.
