Quinlan

I snarled at Martha, my father's secretary, as she tried to stop me from getting into my father's office. She was either blind or stupid to get in my way when I could easily snap her neck or throw her across the hallway. I kicked the door open with my feet covered in socks and my hands tightly folded into large fists as I stepped in. My father stood from his chair, eyes wide as he took in my appearance.

"How dare you lay your hands on Ronika!" I spat in a deadly voice that could have brought any other werewolf down to their knees.

"She disrespected me in front of the staff," he nonchalantly answered, placing his hands on the desk, then looked directly into my eyes.

"And it's not even the first time I put my hands on her. You were here when I choked her; why didn't that earn a reaction from you like it is right now?" The sarcasm in his voice was detectable, with the victorious smirk on his face following right after.
