I wake up from my sleep on the couch to a noise that sounds like murmuring outside the front door. “That’s weird.” I say while glancing at the clock on the front screen of my phone. I rush into work with a little more pep in my step than usual. I’m greeted at the door by Thomas our doorman who is wearing his usual sour look on his face. After almost 20 hours of being on the plane I’m about as restless as one can possibly be. I tried accessing my work documents on my laptops but Kelsey and Chloe seem to have already locked the files in order to keep me out of them.
