The Strange Occurrence

ELISE POV

" Anytime?" I asked, my chest heaving as my eyes caught his handsome face.

Derek just yawned, as if my words meant nothing to him. Did they expect me to thank them for what they just did? They were the ones taking advantage of me.

I was the one being fucked by three massive guys!

I was about to keep arguing when Derek flipped me over.

" I guess you are still energetic. Why not do something more?" The glistening of his eyes, filled with lustful mischief, could have made me angry, yet strangely, I began to feel tingling once more. I could literally feel my pussy dripping. 

I was naked.

My mates let out grunts and growls as they drew closer to my pussy. Drake overtook the other two and knelt in-between my wet pussy. His head was positioned at the entrance as he sucked in my arousal. 

" Feeling hungry, Ellie. I want to eat and lick you dry," Drake muttered, the vibration from his mouth making me moan.

And just like that these mates of mine took turns in eating and sucking the hell out of me. After they felt satisfied, I was literally ravaged all night long until I fell unconscious.  

I didn't know how long I slept but I awoke to the voice of the triplets. It was still dark outside, maybe around four or five in the morning. 

" Do we need to tell her?" Derek asked, his voice low and husky. 

There was a pause, then a monosyllabic word from Damon," No."

" She will ask questions, Damon. She has the right to know."

" Which do you prefer? Losing her or letting her stay in the dark?" Damon asked, impatiently. 

There was silence, his answer obvious. 

I clenched my fist tightly. I was right from the beginning. These triplets did something to the mate bond. But how was that possible? No matter how powerful an Alpha wolf might be, it's nearly impossible to disrupt the order of the moon goddess on issues of mating.

I slowly opened my eyes, brimming with anger.

Before I could say anything, the triplets got up and started getting dressed. After they put on their clothes, each sat on the couches in the chamber. They looked elegant, refined and every inch the Alpha princes they were. Nevertheless, that smug look seemed to be their signature. They each wore one form of smug look or the other. 

As much as I wanted to drive them out of the damn room, I wanted answers from them too. So I turned to Damon, who is the oldest. 

" Why didn't the rejection work?" I asked, my eyes fixed on him. 

He knitted his brows, a tiny dark smile melting into those icy eyes. He seemed to be contemplating what to say. 

After what seemed like forever,  he simply dragged out the words." We told you already."

" You didn't."

" Oh...!" Damon replied, standing up. 

Then Drake stood up too, facing me squarely. " Get more rest and stop thinking about the impossible."

" Oh, another reminder. You can’t reject us, darling. You are not just our mates, but something stronger," Derek answered this time, winking at me.

Just like that, they turned around and left the chambers, my anger slowly boiling up. How could they dismiss my efforts without a reasonable answer? I couldn't stop thinking about their conversation not long ago. 

I tried getting out of bed, my body feeling sore all over. It was as if I were hit by a tornado. Fuck these brothers. They almost ripped me apart all night long. My eyes drifted to the bedside but it felt cold. 

Things I had to do, for now.

A voice rang out within. It was my wolf and she sounded worried," Elise, are you sure about this? It's going to be a risk."

I simply replied, " I will love nothing more than to do what I came for."

But for now, I truly... truly need to adjust to the aching between my V-spot. I cursed as I got out of bed. I needed a hot bath to ease these pains. I walked slowly until I got to the bathroom. I was surprised to see a medicinal bath wafting with an alluring scent. 

When did they prepare this?

We had been fucking all night long until the wee hours of this morning. Could it be the last round of sex that got me unconscious?

These sex starved bastards.

I shut my eyes tightly, letting the hot bath soothe my entire being. I don't know how it happened, but I found myself surrounded by wails and growls. I saw myself drowning in the bathtub. I couldn't say anything, just the sounds of bones breaking, heads being ripped apart.

I sank deeper into the bathtub, the heated water turning icy as it enveloped me like a shroud. But even the fight with reality couldn't penetrate the chill that seeped into my bones. 

Memories long buried begin to resurface, and I was powerless to stop them.

I see their faces.

Their screams echoed in my mind as they were torn apart, every one of them. I stood frozen, helplessly witnessing the brutal slaughter of my family. The pain was overwhelming, like daggers to my heart.

But beneath the grief and pain, a spark of burning desire for vengeance on that particular face. The dreaded face.

The face of that one responsible, the cruel smiles etched in my mind. My hands clenched into fists, and I felt the urge to let out my inner self.

" Avenge us, Elise. Hid..." 

The memories become too much, and I jolt back to reality. I gasped for air, water splashing around me as I sat up with a start. My heart raced as I looked around the bathtub, disoriented. The warmth of the water was a stark contrast to the cold anger still burning inside me.

For a moment, I let the pain and anger consume me. But then I took a deep breath, scrubbing my body as if I was washing off whatever I just did. I needed to break the bond as soon as possible.

I stayed a little longer before getting out of the bathroom. I was trying to see if there were any clean clothes when I felt a presence lingering at the entrance of my door. It was definitely not the scent of my mates. 

I slowly walked out of the bathroom stark naked. Fortunately, a neatly folded nightgown was resting on the pink couch. I reached out quickly and grabbed the nightgown, draping it on my body. I made my way to the chambers door and yanked it open. 

I squinted at the lingering scent, yet the hallway was empty. I could swear someone was at the entrance of my chamber. My claws elongated, tapping lightly on the door. The scent was too mysterious and powerful to ignore.

" What do you say, Keiran?" 

Keiran, my wolf, growls softly." We need to be careful, Elise. I can sense another power in this palace."

" I sensed it too. From the triplets," I recalled, staring at the empty hallway." Let me rein in my inquisiti-"

I paused when I heard a grunt and whimper. Whoever had that scent was still around there. I wanted to find out, so I took a step forward. Just another step more and I stopped, the icy wind brushing against my skin. 

" Elise, I don't think it's a good idea..." Keiran warned, growling softly in my head. 

She was right. These felt weird and strange. 

So, I decided to ignore it. After all, this was the palace of the monstrous Alpha and his equally brutal sons. I wouldn’t want to die before I finished my mission. 

Sighing, I went back into the room. I still felt sleepy even after hours of sleeping. 

" Maybe, I should nap for a while..."

But I still felt uneasy, deep down something kept urging me to look for answers. It was too strange an occurrence. I was still in deep thought when I felt the presence again. 

This time, it was inside my room.
