"Nana is happy about the preparation," George started as he stared into space.

"That's good. If there's anything she needs, she can go to any of the stores to get it," I encouraged.

"But of course, Alpha," he smiled as he leaned back.

"Can I ask you something?" His orbs were now settled into mine.

"Yes, go on." I sat upright to listen to him.

"About Alexa, is she still insistent that you reject her?" he asked, worry etched on his face.

I sighed. "I don't really know, George, but Alexa seems to harbor a deep hatred for me."
