She was all alchemy, magic flying at the tips of her fingers, her touch was fire and soul. I pulled her close and kissed her back, letting my tongue dance against hers. Our hands rose to embrace each other, mine firmly entwined around her waist. She sighed my name. Before I realized it, I laid her down on the ground, and my lips were on her nose, eyes closed, forehead and neck, traveling up to the delightful curves of her chest.

"I love you," I murmured against her neck, lovingly licking the place where I marked her as mine. "I love you today, tomorrow, and in a thousand other universes."

"Well, isn't that touching?" The mature and melodious voice sounded as if someone had stabbed a knife into a stone. I gritted my teeth and sat up.

Chloe seemed visibly disturbed. "Eleanor! I thought you had retired for the night."

She looked from her to me, disapproval and a strange gleam in her eyes. "Yes, but the night was so beautiful that I felt like a walk was in order."
