Chapter Fourteen: The Witch

Silas sat alone in his chamber, staring blankly at the wall in front of him. His mind was racing with thoughts and emotions that he couldn't quite make sense of. He had just learned the truth about Alex, someone he had trusted and respected for so long, and it had shattered him to his core.
