Chapter Twenty-one

Grace didn't want her to misinterpret her words or misunderstand her, she was only a little surprised to hear that as it's such a stressful job.

“No, I don't, it's just that it's too stressful, especially for a lady in her first trimester.”She voiced her concern.

“I know, but I can manage.”She responded.

“Let me give you a lift, since you are supposed to be in bed now.”She offered.

Savannah shook her head in disagreement, she couldn't imagine how her colleagues would react when they saw her walking out of a car.

She walked out of the house and searched her purse, but didn't see single cash. She signed in frustration and kept walking towards the main road when she heard a horn.

She turned her back and saw Grace in the passenger seat of a car which looked so luxurious.

“Do you mind changing your mind?” Grace brought her head out from the car window and asked her with a broad smile.

“If you insist.”Savannah agreed immediately and walked into the car.

In the car, none of them said a word
