A rose dedicated to Alpha Aiden

Rosalie felt her body burning, breathing hard she opened her eyes, She wasn't in the forest, there were no werewolves tearing her body in pieces. She was in her home if she can call it one.

She took a shaky breath. She didn't know what it was, a dream that showed her, the future or she just went back to her past life.

But she didn't ponder on it, if the dream was true then her mother might call her any second now and as on cue, her mother's soft simpering voice drifted over to her.

Rosalie sneered, everyone in the house knew that she was down with fever yet they still expected her to come down to them when they call for her.

Wrapping herself tightly in one of her old coats, Rosalie took her time. Never again, will she let herself suffer because of them, never again.

 " You're finally here!" said her mother with a smile, that looked as if smiling at Rosalie was the hardest thing she ever did. Wrapping her hands around Rosalie's, she brought her into the sitting room.

Her sister, Anna was standing behind, her father who was sitting on an armchair puffing on his pipe. Once her mother had brought her to the centre of the sitting room, she let go of her. Beaming she looked at her as if she was going to tell her something really good.

" Rosie, do you know, you have just received a marriage proposal from The Crescent moon pack, And your husband is none other than Aiden Cullen, the Alpha of that pack !" 

Eyes flashing, her mother waited for Rosalie to smile, to cheer along with her but Rosalie remained passive, mask at a place and she didn't even smile at her.

" Rosie ?" her mother called 

" Okay, when is the wedding ?" not sharing her mother's excitement, Rosalie still kept her voice dry.

Her family exchanged wary looks with each other, clearly, this wasn't in their plan. Rosalie acting like this will certainly bring trouble to them.

" Rosie -" began Anna but Rosalie didn't want to listen to her sister at all, she now knew what lay behind that innocent face, her sister who always pretended to be nice to her spoke flowery words to her, was nothing but a venomous backbiting snake.

" If that's all, I will be leaving. I still feel sick, when the wedding date arrives, tell me, I will get myself ready for it " not wanting to be in the presence of these white-eyed wolves, Rosalie turned to leave.

"Rosalie" her father called out from behind and Rosalie sneer deepened even more.

" Yes ?" turning around Rosalie asked.

Her father frowned as if the conversation wasn't going the way he wanted.

" The pack needs some financial help if you can mention it to Alpha Cullen," he said 

" And why will I do that, father?" 

" Rosie, why are you acting like that, we are one family, even if you don't like this marriage, don't act like this - If you want, I can take your place " Anna spoke softly tears brimming in her eyes. Rosalie sneered no wonder her parents liked Anna better than her, her sister was a much better spokesperson than she was.

And as expected her mother hurried forward to stop Anna from crying and her father glared at her as if it was her fault that Anna was crying.

" She didn't mean that, do you Rosie ?" her mother half glared half threaten her.

" No, I have nothing to say against the marriage but if you want me to beg for money on the pack's behalf, I won't do it," said Rosalie.

" You will do what we ask you to do !" scowling her father yelled at her " we raised you, and brought you up as the daughter of the pack's Alpha, it's your responsibility to help out the pack in a time of need!" 

Rosalie scoffed, she didn't flinch at her father's loud voice instead she met his glare with one of her own glares.

" And I'm paying it back by marrying a bloodthirsty Alpha who killed his mate, has countless mistress behind his back and letting your darling daughter have her freedom, what did you think I wouldn't have heard about Alpha Aiden Cullen? " she added with a jeer at her family's shocked faces.

Indeed they haven't expected Rosalie to know about Aiden Cullen, being the shut-off introvert she was, she shouldn't have known it unless, both Mr Morris and Mrs Morris turned to look at their eldest daughter who shook her head fervently, she had no idea how, Rosalie came to know about it but if that was the case then letting her beg for money wouldn't work at all.

" You - How could you talk to us like that! I gave birth to you !" her mother stomped forward rushing at her, her hand raised but gone were the days where Rosalie will put up with all of their nonsense.

" If you even dare to hit me I swear I will run away from the marriage, If I won't be able to run on the day of marriage then I will run away after marrying him," said Rosalie coldly her voice threatening her mother " If I run away think what will happen to you and your beloved daughter ?" 

She was bluffing, of course, she will never make a mistake like that again. The last time she ran away in her dream, she only survived a few years before the rogue werewolves killed her wolf. Rosalie wasn't even surprised that she died such a pitiful death in her dream given how weak her wolf became after repetitive starvation in the wild.

Her mother's hand stopped midair, she was looking at Rosalie as if she had never before, she never thought that will ever see a day where her oppressed daughter will talk back to her like that.

" You - I'm your mother !" stomping her mother yelled at her but Rosalie didn't care about her anymore, soon she will be out of this house even if it meant marrying a man like Aiden Cullen.
