Not going back to Clinton

I woke up the next day feeling tired and utterly disoriented and famished. Forcing my eyelids open, I realized that I had woken up on the bed. That's strange. I knew that I had slept on the couch the previous night so why and how did I end up here.

I scanned the bedroom and spotted Davion on the couch. Did he give up his bed for me? Anxious, I double checked myself to see if something had happened between us last night. I mean we weren't drunk so there was no reason for something to happen to us but I didn't want to take any chances. The last time we were together alone, we had gotten intimate and it happened because both of us were drunk out of our minds.

I rolled out of bed quietly so that I don't stir him awake and make for my flip flops. I wore them and tiptoed towards to the bed. I twisted the door knob and a certain kind of relief coursed through me when it gave way.

Maybe he opened it himself while I was sleeping. Either ways, I'm grateful that he did. At least I won't
