OLENA

Then I caught the subtle nod Abraham gave me, signaling for me to follow as he turned and walked away.

I lowered my head respectfully and started after him, feeling his gaze burn into my back. I couldn’t risk looking over my shoulder.

When I saw he was heading toward his private chambers, my steps faltered. That place, it was the reason she’d put me through all that hell yesterday, and I didn’t want to go through it again.

I froze, hesitating, but then remembered Abraham had the upper hand. The worst part was that even though he had the power, he never bothered to clean up the mess he caused, just left me to suffer.

How was it that his future Luna wasn’t allowed inside his private chambers, yet I, a slave, could go there freely? And if it was really about me being his personal slave, then what about his Beta or Catzn, why couldn’t they go in too?

He was the root of all this, and honestly, I couldn’t even blame Morgan as she’d only acted out of jealousy, and somehow my life was

OLENA What was I even thinking? I shouldn’t be thinking like this. I need to stay positive. Maybe it’s just decoration. Maybe my father isn’t dead. He can’t be. He looked fine before I left, strong and healthy. Not even a sign of sickness. Just maybe… though even that felt like a lie.We stepped into the hall, already packed with rich people. The air shifted as it smelled with their expensive perfumes, women with their gowns and the men with their gowns and jewelries."Am I seeing vision or is that the Lycan King?" someone whispered with a stunned laugh.Gasps rippled through the crowd like a wave."Shh! Do you want to get your head chopped off?" someone else hissed."He looks so chiselled," another said in awe.The tension rose. A few bold men stepped forward, trying to greet Abraham, but the guards weren’t having it. They shoved them back with firm hands and cold eyes.“Stay back,” one of the guards growled, expression hard as stone. As Abraham came to a stop and scanned the room,

MORGANLast night it flowed like honey. Music, drinks, laughter, just me and my girls lighting up the room. I tossed my head back as our glasses clinked, not a single worry on my mind. Somewhere out there, she was probably being dragged through hell by Zubby or whatever name he bears. No one ever really saw that guy around the kingdom anyway. Ghost with a charming smile.“Are we just gonna leave her?” Rubbie asked, her gaze locked on me like she was trying to read something underneath my smirk.I paused, letting the grin curl slowly at the corner of my lips. That girl really thought she could throw that filthy word at me... insecure? She had no clue who she was dealing with. I leaned back, chin lifted just enough to remind the room who I was.Me — Lady Morgan. Mistress of Lycan Abraham Namtaru. Daughter of the fiercest warrior this kingdom’s ever known with a mother who's the Eyes of the kingdom. Future Luna. Soon this land would kneel for me, inch by inch, and she’d watch it all from

OLENAGasps spread through the hall, but Zinnia only scoffed, letting the insult roll right off her.“Are you mad they don’t think you’re prettier than her?” Zinnia shot back. “Mad that he called you a fucking monkey and called her an angel? Is that why you’re so pissed?”Ava’s face darkened, her jaw tight as she clenched her fists and slapped Zinnia across the cheek.“What the hell do you know about me and Zubby, huh?” she snapped, breathing hard. “And what you said isn’t even right, you fucking cunt!”Who's Zubby now? Maybe the guy from yesterday? Someone shouted from across the dining hall, “Y’all better tell her to wrap that white cloth back around her hair, it looks like a rag on a dead dog!”Laughter exploded everywhere, stabbing straight through me, but I tried to stand still and keep my head up. June’s hand closed around mine, grounding me.“Yes, take her away,” Zinnia hissed, rolling her eyes. “Let’s see how they're gonna hurt you, Morgan’s bootlicker.” She reached out to s

OLENAI woke with a pounding headache, forcing myself upright as a groan slipped out. I pressed my palms against my temples, trying to steady the spinning in my head. The alarm shrilled four a.m. instead of three, sending another stab of pain through my skull just as the bell clanged, calling us out for morning baths. My mind was a blur and the last thing I could remember was being at the party with June and Zinnia, and then… nothing.Stepping outside to line up with the others, I felt eyes burning into me. Some girls covered their mouths, giggling, while others just laughed outright.“What the fuck is this?” one girl scoffed, her voice dripping with disgust.Confused, I ran a hand through my hair, catching the way more people were staring, pointing, even reaching to touch it as I stood in line. Was something wrong with me?“More like a green-haired girl now,” someone laughed, their voice sharp and mocking. My heart sank. I reached for my hair, dragging the strands down, and froze — i

OLENA“Got anything to say, baby girl?” one of the girls taunted, smirking.I stayed silent, eyes fixed on Morgan–dressed in a yellow gown, who looked like she could swallow me whole.“Gosh, this is so boring,” another girl sighed, stepping closer while swinging a whip in her hand.Panic jolted through me. I glanced at the door, shot to my feet, and twisted the handle, but it was locked.“You think you can run away, huh?”My heart thudded painfully as I turned back. The girl was grinning, then grabbed my hair and flung me across the floor, sending me sliding until I landed right at Morgan’s feet.My hair was a tangled mess, falling over my face. Morgan lifted her foot and kicked me hard, pain bursting through my cheek.“You can’t be the vessel, right?” she whispered, leaning closer.I had no idea what she meant — all I wanted was for her to leave me alone. “I mean, do you even know how many people hate you?” Morgan hissed. “Why do you keep annoying everyone, you dumbfuck?”She slappe
