Chapter 14: We've already come this far
My body jumped as I heard Natalia calling me. She was now awake. I turned around facing her at once.
"Aria, where are you going?" she asked me worriedly as she sat up onto the bed quickly.
"I'm going to the bathroom," I lied to her. Damn knowing what I was planning to do and that was to make the bastard pay for what he had done to her. I was not a good fighter as dad and my brother were, but I could not sit within the room and let him get away with what he had done to her.
"Let me follow you so he won't try to hurt you as well," Natalia said as she came off the bed coming towards me.
"You don't need to," I told her; wanting to go alone.
"I don't want you to go through the same thing that I've been through tonight Aria," she told me. " I don't think you'll be able to bear it as I do," she said sadly as she lowers her head; Still insisting on coming along with me.
