DORIAN GRIMALDI.
The afternoon was sunny and windy as I dipped my hands into the pocket of my Jean. I stood at the front of my window, listening to the dulcet harmony which played into my ears through the loudspeakers in my room as I thought about recent events.
I, Dorian Grimaldi—the future Alpha King was a stalker.
To be honest, it was something I had never done in my life, since I was used to girls flocking around me like birds; However, since I met Eden, I had done unquestionable things and it felt so surreal.
Two knocks reverberated on the door of my room, cutting in on my thoughts and privacy. There was a guard at the door who helped filter the numbers of people who could enter my room, so a knock on my door meant it was the guard who needed my attention. I turned around, raised my voice, telling him to enter. He did as I ordered, bowing out of respect to me. Then he proceeded to tell me my mother needed my audience.
"Did she tell you the reason why?" I asked him.
He shook his head, "She only asked you to come as soon as possible." He replied.
I took in deep breaths before ordering him to go tell the queen I was on my way. He nodded his head in response before exiting my room. I should have known it was my mother that called me, all I didn't know was what for.
Leaving my room, I walked through the hallway to my mother's chambers and then I felt another presence. I sighed in relief, "Do you know why she called for me?" I asked.
There was no response but I knew he was walking behind me. I waited for a minute or two before he spoke, "There's no need for me to give you a reply— you will see why she called you soon." He replied.
I stopped, turning to face my best friend and also my Beta. I probbed him for a response but he didn't give any utterance.
Gustavo had been my best friend since we were both kids. He was tall, very tall, almost as tall as me. He had sky blue eyes as clear as the sky in the morning, his jaw was perfectly sculpted and his hair was as dark as a Raven. Many ladies wished to have us, I had some of them but Gustav on the other hand was gay. He wasn't interested in ladies. No one knew about his sexuality though, just me and him, and also his fuckboy.
His father was a member of the supernatural counsel, and back when I was still a kid with no one to talk with, Gustav came into my life and we both became a pair, inseparable.
We walked side to side, almost nearing my mother's chambers. "You're still not saying a thing, right, Gustavo?"
"I know nothing, Dorian." He passed me a liptight smile.
I growled, making him falter a bit but still he didn't say anything. He only smirked at me. That bastard.
"You can try using your dominance, but you know it won't work on me— we've been acquainted with each other since we could read the alphabet." He chuckled at me before walking at my front, leaving me behind.
I walked at his back before flicking the back of his head, he tried to pin me down but I was stronger and just laughed at his futile attempt to pull me to the floor. He gave up after a while and continued walking.
"At least, let me know why she called?" I asked him again.
He rolled his eyes before muttering to himself, "Fine, your fiancee and her father are both here." He smirked at me.
I groaned in irritation while Gustav gave me a mocking face before laughing, "You know, if only you were not into women—then you wouldn't have any problem." Then he winked. "I could even marry you."
I flicked him on his forehead, "Shut up, I don't do love holes— Only wet pussies." Gustav's face squeezed up in disgust and I laughed at his reaction, "You should see your face in the mirror."
He gave me an angry face but I knew he wasn't mad. The thought of seeing Lenora and her father saddened me greatly but it was my duty to make an alliance and I had to fulfill it by getting married to his daughter. If we had sat down to think about it critically— there would be other ways but the council decided that it was better, more convenient, and wise for me to marry a vampire daughter. Ugh. If only I could make my own choice. I wanted Eden, not Lenora.
We were almost at my mother's chamber, and just the thought of marrying Lenora wanted to make puke. Then I remembered Eden, "Gustav," he slowly brought his head to my direction. "I found my mate." I said.
His footsteps paused right at my mother's door, "We will talk later. Go in now." He said, his face was hardened and I was sure mine was— we only joked with each other in private but when it was time for us to be logical, we got stern.
The door to my mother's chamber opened, and without wasting any precious moment, I entered, while Gustavo stayed outside. I enquired about the reason I was summoned.
Sir Vincent Mendalv spoke up first, "That's no way to greet your in-law, child."
"Do not call me a child and neither am I your in-law. It's just been two days and now you feel you can just walk into my home."
My mother tried to shush me but I wasn't listening any more, "What do you mean… you and my daughter already had an intimate moment together and now you want to reject her." Vincent said, his nostrils flaring up in anger as he stood up.
I scoffed in disbelief as soon as he finished talking, "Is that what your precious daughter told you? "That I slept with her? Let me correct your insinuation, your daughter wanted me to fuck her but I rejected her." I smiled after saying that.
I heard a gasp from Lenora, her face reddening in shame and probably anger which matched that of her father, who looked like he could throw me a punch at any moment.
"Silence! The both of you should stop." My mother shouted, looking at the two of us. I went to sit down on a chair far away from both of them.
I watched as my Mother removed her hand from her temple and rested it on her fancy bed, tapping her fingers gently on the bed in a rhythmic occurrence.
"We've talked about this Dorian so why are you still contemplating?" She asked.
I didn't think too much about a reply, "Mother, the only reason why you and the counsels want me to marry Lenora is because of the alliance. We want to fight against the hunters who are inflicting mere dangers on the supernatural beings but what if there are other ways to go about it without me getting married."
"And what other ways have you thought about?" My mother asked.
I was silent, there was nothing on my mind but if I had time— I was sure I could come up with something.
Before I could say anything, my mother spoke up. "You have no response Dorian and since you don't, you're going to get married and there's nothing you can do about it as long as I am alive." She ended her words with a threatening statement. I was about to retort, "Is there anything wrong dear?" She asked with a sickening smile on her face.
"I'm sure he has nothing to say." Vincent said, glaring daggers at me.
I was about to lose it but I thought about the consequences. I wasn't the king yet and so I still had to listen to their little whims. It was all just a matter of time before I took the crown.
With that, I went out of her room— my mother called my name behind but I paid no heed. I met with Gustav at the front who looked at me with concern.
"Let's go somewhere." I said to him,
He nodded his head in reply, making a call on his phone while I stayed quiet. I only had one destination in mind, the place I had been going to for the past two days whenever I wanted to see her beautiful face. The only person I thought of whenever I felt troubled. Just a glance of her face was enough to cool me down.
I got out of the mansion and got into the driver's seat, Gustav got in next to me, and then I drove off into the street of North Creekville. I connected my Bluetooth to the car speakers and a rock song played as I drove off.
"Who is the girl who has your head in an uproar?" I heard Gustav ask me.
The tension that I felt earlier relieved me instantly as soon as I thought about Eden. We hadn't talked much but I felt a strong connection between us. I told Gustav about her and he listened without interrupting. . . A smile fell from my lips, just wishing she was here.
"Wow—it seems this Eden of a girl got you wrapped around her fingers."
I chuckled at his words. I couldn't deny his words because they were of truth. Finally, I arrived at my destination—I parked two houses away from her apartment, waiting for her.
"Why are we parked here?" Gustav asked me.
I pointed towards the direction of Eden's house, and then I noticed Gustav brows arched. I looked at him, confused by his facial reaction.
"Hey Dorian, that's the Monroe's house you are pointing to." He said.
I switched my gaze between the house and his face, torn by his words. A frown etched on my face. I knew who the Monroe's were, especially Charles Monroe— he was a remarkable doctor and owned the biggest hospital in the whole of North Creekville but, in secret— he ran a foster home which was affiliated to the supernatural world.
"Maybe Eden is his daughter?" Gustav said, trying to lighten up my mood.
I was about to respond when I smelt her heavenly scent, "She's coming out." I said, with excitement.
I watched as she sat down on the stairs leading to their porch, her phone in her hand—probably chatting with her friends or. . . Just the thought of Eden having a man made me clench my hand.
"Hey, it looks like you're able to beat someone up." Gustav said to me.
I watched Eden as she smiled at something on her phone. Her smile was beautiful, everything about her made me happy. Time passed by and Eden still sat at her spot, she didn't move an Inch and neither did I.
"Can we just go, it's getting late and people are going to notice that you're gone. They would go snitch to your mother who would then ask me about your whereabouts." Gustav rambled on.
I held a hand to him, trying to tell him to keep quiet but still he didn't listen.
"Why not just take a picture, it will last longer." Gustav said as a joke before finally keeping quiet.
An idea clicked into place and I thanked my best friend for giving me the idea. I brought my phone out and took lots of pictures of my Eden from where I stayed in my car.
Truthfully, I was a stalker for this girl. Only for Eden.
"Are the pictures not enough?" Gustavo asked.
I looked at him, smiling like a loser in love before keeping my phone in my Jean pocket. I looked at Eden once more and after a short while, I drove back home with Gustavo complaining about me being a lovesick puppy for a woman I just met two days ago. He talked like that because he hadn't met his mate, he wouldn't know how it felt to just stare at the one person the goddess paired with you.
Finally, we arrived back home. Gustav went home and I went back into my room. Reality befallen me, I was going to get married to the vampire princess when all I could think about was Eden. She wasn't going to leave my mind and I couldn't stay away from her.
I tried to think of a solution to the mess my family created for me because of those damn hunter's. If it wasn't for them, I would be with my only mate without me thinking of what could happen or not. Dread ran through my back when I thought I could lose the only woman meant for me.
At that moment I decided that I was going to do something to get rid of the issue logically, no matter what it was.
EDEN MONROE. While strolling down the hallways with my friends, we discussed an upcoming club event that Carla had invited us to, and I was looking forward to a fun night out. The only challenge was sneaking out without my Charles knowing. They wouldn't approve of me going to a club. I realized I would need my sister's assistance to make it happen.Ben asked us as we walked slowly, "How would we meet tonight?"I was at a loss for ideas, so I remained silent and pondered upon his question. Carla chimed in, "Why don't we meet at your place, Eden?"I shook my head in response, "No way, my parents would never allow it."Ben and Carla both exhaled in frustration. But suddenly, a lightbulb went off in my head, and I let out a squeal of excitement. It wasn't going to be easy, but I was determined to have some fun."Wait, I have an idea!" I exclaimed. "Ben, you just got a jeep, right? So, how about we rendezvous two streets away from my house? You and Carla could wait for me there."My frien
Dorian Grimaldi My typical routine of going out late at night, which could be considered a form of stalking, was in full swing. Gustav, who was in the back seat of the car, was exhausted by my behavior and irritated by something he didn't want to share with me, "Don't you ever get tired of waiting here, Dorian?" he asked.I glanced back at him briefly, then shifted my gaze back to the house. Despite the fact that I rarely actually saw her when I came here, just observing her window brought a sense of peace to my thoughts and emotions. As soon as I noticed the window to her door opening, I sat up on the cushion of the car seat in anticipation. I caught a glimpse of her angelic figure standing by the window, appearing ready to leap out, but hesitating for a moment before taking the plunge. She landed gracefully on the grass below, and I felt a sense of satisfaction at her not being injured and wonderness as I watched her hurry off into the obscurity of the night.I started the eng
Eden Monroe. As I regained consciousness, I heard what sounded like howls. “Howls!? Those were definitely howls” I thought to myself, as I stirred on the ground. Struggling to open my eyes, I found myself surrounded by darkness, but eventually I could make out the gray hues of dusk filtering through the trees above me. Although the forest was unfamiliar to me, it seemed strangely familiar at the same time, unsettling me. Lost in thought, I didn't notice anything until I heard a twig snap. “Who is there?”I asked, swiveling my head to come face to face with pointed, bloody canines. “I knew you were here, I smelled you from faraway, Moja Ijubavi” the creature, whatever it was, spoke to me, it’s voice like an Angel’s slur. “What are you?!”I screamed, my fear evident in my eyes, my voice, as I started to slowly back away from the thing. “Me?” it asked, its voice still a delightful slur, “that’s not important” it said before dashing at me and swinging an arm towards my head with inh
EDEN MONROEI breathed a sigh of relief and felt my tension dissipate. I gave Dorian a playful glare and playfully punched him on the shoulder. He tilted his head and the expression on his face scared me which made me move back from him. "Did you just hit me?" He asked, his voice was scary and I felt terrified. Initially, I thought that Dorian and I were just teasing each other, given his prank. However, it seemed that I was the one overreacting. Again. As I tried to make my way out, Dorian grabbed me from behind, causing my face to hit his chest. I breathed in his musky scent and felt momentarily at ease, but our moment was interrupted by a voice."Looks like you came earlier than expected," I looked back to see who interrupted us and when I saw who it was, quickly I dispersed my body off of Dorian's. Lady Maurie approached us with a smile on her face."I don't think I've ever seen your mother frown," I whispered to Dorian, being careful not to let Lady Maurie overhear.Dorian re
Dorian GrimaldiAfter parking my car in the garage, I reminisced about the passionate kiss I had shared with Eden. I couldn't forget the sensation of her soft, alluring lips, and the way she had run her slender fingers through my hair, almost making me lose control in the car. Frustrated, I let out a groan and hit the steering wheel, regretting the missed opportunity caused by her sister's interruption. If it weren't for that, we might have ended up in the back seat of my car.I couldn't stop replaying the moment in my head, wondering what could have happened if we weren't interrupted. Eden was unlike anyone I had ever met, and the chemistry between us was undeniable. Every time I saw her, my heart skipped a beat, and my mind raced with the desire to feel her lips on mine again. As I sat in the car, lost in my thoughts, I couldn't help but feel a sense of longing and frustration. I wanted to be with her again, to feel her touch and taste, but I didn't know when that would happen. All
Eden Monroe. My sister's and I were on our way to school, and as usual, Bree was our driver. I was grateful for their help with Charles and Grace, and relieved that they didn't suspect anything."Uhm, how did you do it? How was it possible they were not able to find out?" I asked, wanting to know how they did it.Bree, didn't respond to my question. She was focused on the road ahead, navigating the twists and turns with ease. I wondered how she managed to keep Charles and Grace occupied without giving away my absence.Anastasia, who was sitting next to her in the front seat, also remained silent. She was busy scrolling through her phone, not bothering to look up or acknowledge my question. Her nonchalant behavior irritated me. I wanted answers, but it seemed like nobody was willing to provide them.I was really frustrated, "Are you guys mad at me or something? Talk to me, if I did something wrong… tell me, I hate the silence." I said again, but still no response. After a

I hesitated for a moment, wondering if I should just leave her be, but my empathetic nature wouldn't allow it."Excuse me, are you okay?"
