Chapter 23

Helena's POV

I peeked in the hallway while waiting for Sir Duncan to come out of his office to apologize and thank him for what he did. My class with him is every Monday and Friday so I don't see him every day. That's why until now I still haven't talked with him since the day Miss Gonsalo talked to me. And speaking of Miss Gonsalo, she always throws hard questions at me when it's time for her class. And if I couldn't answer her questions, she embarrasses me in class. But if she thinks that I am embarrassed in class, she is mistaken. My classmates knew that she was just making things hard on me because of Sir Duncan.

I suddenly stood up straight when I saw that Duncan is coming out of his office. And when he was almost near me I, suddenly came out from hiding.

"Good afternoon, Sir Duncan," I hesitate and greeted him with a smile. Just like the first time I saw him, his face was still serious.

"What do you want?" he immediately asked me as if she couldn't wait to get out of my sight.
