Alpha King’s sex slave
Chapter Three
[Dungeon]
Talitha’s POV
What was he doing? Is he getting me ready to have my head chopped at the judgement board?
It was dark judging by the light torches at the apex of the room and the executions were mostly in the mornings and afternoons.
Alpha Hades would do whatever he wishes to do. Witches aren’t given a fair trial in the Kingdom of Arni. One look at us and we’re hunted down with our heads chopped off.
We are the outcasts of society, we are shunned from the stalls to buy bread, insulted in public gatherings, and our lives are of no value as our women are abused and easily targeted by sexual predators.
The past Alpha King made sure of it. Witches are forbidden here and not allowed to co-exist with others.
We were beginning to live peacefully so we thought before a greater disaster happened.
The huge golden doors were pushed open by four guards walking into the courtroom and their knees fell to the floor in a thud with their heads bowed slightly.
“Yes, Alpha.”
He tore his grip from my throat and took a rise with his gaze still fixated on me as I coughed loudly with tears blinding my vision while I rubbed the sting his hold caused.
“Take her to the dungeon.” He ordered.
‘Dungeon?’ No, I dreaded being in that place. He should kill me and end it all by not taking me to the dungeon. It will cripple my mind and kill me slowly. I’ve suffered enough there was no need to keep me alive to take the little sanity left.
“Please no! Kill me instead but not the dungeon. Please Alpha.”
“One more word from you I would have the guards stitch your lips. You would like that won’t you?” He gritted out and a cold shiver ran down my spine. He wasn’t the type to issue mere threats.
The guards pulled me up and with tears streaming down my cheek they led me out before they shut the door. The Alpha let out a burst of hysterical laughter.
~
The guards tightened their grip on my wrist as they led me to the dungeon. My skin must have birthed bruises and blisters from the numerous shoving and grips I’ve been subjected to.
With each passing of a long corridor, going farther and farther into the most eerie part of the Castle and deep into captivity my freedom bid goodbye.
The tears kept falling at will and despite how much I groomed my heart and strength all these years but they came crashing down like quicksands.
Was it my fault to be born a Witch? I’ve not done anything wrong, haven’t taken the life of an innocent soul and yet we get hunted down like animals any chance they get.
My hate for these people, the Alpha, and his kind rose to a peak. I hate the Wolves.
I would never forgive them for the humiliation and unjust killings for the years my kind suffered and still suffering, the witch hunts and the death of my best friend Diana.
The thought of her made bitter bile rise in my throat. I can’t believe he was so close to me and I didn’t seize the opportunity before I was collared to end his life. But on second thought It wasn’t the red moon night yet. My powers would have been limited and how would I escape from the multitude of his loyalists who were ready to cut me into tiny bits on just his command?
“Stop!”
One of the guards pushed me roughly to the floor and grazed my knee to the hard floor. A painful grimace spread across my face and when I looked up to see we had gotten to the mouth of the dungeon.
How did I not notice? I was moving but not looking at where I was headed as thoughts boggled in my head.
The lock of the dungeon was fastened with a metal key as it got unlocked and creaked open with a cranky noise.
“Get up and get in!”
Why was everyone here hostile, stern, and lacking empathy in their hearts? I tried to stand on my feet but a sharp pain shot through my ankle.
“Ahh!” I whimpered.
“We have no time to waste.” One dragged me by my hair and the next minute I was thrown into the dungeon as my face hit the floor. They burst into laughter and slammed the doors shut and heard the clinking of the keys which meant it was getting locked.
There was a faint light coming from the window. The rest was dark in here and the floors were hard, my hands tapped the floor searching for nothing in particular but ended up holding a skull.
“Oh, gods!” I exclaimed in fear.
Someone must have died here. The evils of the past Alpha didn’t just end with him, it went with the son of his loins. Bloody beasts!
“Let me out!” I screamed hitting the dungeon doors repeatedly.
“Please let me out!” My voice bounced in the dungeon with the echoes of my voice as a complete reminder that I was all alone followed by the silence of the environment.
My hand lazily left the door plummeting to the floor as I plopped my head downwards and sobbed loudly.
“Diana I’ll avenge your death if that’s the last thing I do,” I swore.
The Return of the Witch Queen Fiona’s POV Chapter FifteenMy head hurts. It bangs so terribly I couldn't peer my eyes open, my lips burning with liquid drooling from the sides. I don’t know what happened after I took that liquid but I know it added to my unconscious state. I hear voices arguing but I can’t speak or see who they’re but soon the air turns toxic, hot and filled with grunts from people who seem to be at war with each other. Fire burns everywhere, the smell infiltrating into my nostrils so hard I couldn’t stop myself from choking out loud. “Fiona!” Xander! “Fiona!!” He really is the one. What is he doing here? Tabitha would hurt him if she finds him an inch in her lair. I forcibly open my eyes to see Tabitha lying on the floor out of breath with her tongue sticking outside of her mouth. Xander has sweat running down his forehead, arms and he looked relieved when our eyes met. I try to say words that won't
The Return of the Witch Queen Chapter Fourteen Xander’s POV “She hasn’t left the library since morning.” “And why is that?” “She mentioned she didn’t want to be disturbed, my lord.” I barged into the library and met pristine silence. The bookshelves are in their right accord, the chairs were untouched, it showed no sign of anyone being present enough to sit and read. Something smells fishy. My eye caught a rope swinging from the window. I hurried there with bated breath and saw it stretched to the valley outside of Arni. She escaped? Fiona escaped for what reason? I walk briskly outside to meet the guards waiting on my return. “Gather eighty guards into the valley and find Fiona; she has been kidnapped.” He looked surprised but hurried to the task. In a few minutes the guards are rounded up running into the valley following her footprints. Good heavens it is raining during the morning and the ground is cove
The Return of the Witch Queen Chapter Thirteen Tabitha’s POV Bonus Chapter “My Lordess, she hasn’t done what you commanded. I was one of the maids in charge of cleaning Alpha Xander’s room. She prepared his favorite mushroom soup but I didn’t know what transpired between them. The room was perforated with mushroom soup scattered around.” She narrated, clutching at the twenty six gold coins I gave her with greed and excitement. “And did you overhear anything?” “Nothing that is of importance, royals don’t discuss in front of maids or servants, secrecy is a part of being in the Pack house.” She replied. “One more question before you leave, have you been in love before?” “Yes,” she mutters shyly. “So you do understand what it means to be in love and be loved isn’t that right?” “Yes Lordess I do but how does that correlate to my love life?” “It does. Can you tell me what you feel watching and
The Return of the Witch Queen Chapter Twelve Fiona’s POV (Three days later) An incessant tapping at the window breaks my attention from the plush chair I sat to relax my tired limbs working on my mini garden for most of the day. Xander helped in cultivating a mini garden in our chambers with few flowers which are showing signs of great progress. I stood up walking to the window and my eyes almost popped out of its socket. A big black bird held on it beak a tiny scroll. “A messenger bird?” I whisper in a tensed tone, nervousness peaked in my veins. What if Xander was here and found a messenger bird and read the message on the scroll. A shiver runs down my back. I hurriedly took the scroll which the bird flew after relieving its assignment. I peered around suspiciously and found no one within sight. I loosen the scroll band and saw what was written. “Meet me, tonight. Tabitha.” A meeting
The Return of the Witch Queen Chapter Eleven Xander’s POV (Moon Fall) “My lord,” “What did she say was the content?” I get straight to the point. My tone is gruff and impatient. “My lord, she spoke in riddles but one thing she made clear was in a week's time she would unravel its content.” “So I wait one week, is that it?” I utter to myself. “Yes my lord.” He responds with his head bowed lowly. I gestured to him to leave; he does his routine bows and left afterward. The cold air of the chilly night blew air across my face, strands of hair getting into my eyes which I pushed away. The soft chirping of the bird cackling together. I took the other route, arriving at a door, folded my knuckles and knocked. “Come in,” her voice ushered in. The minute she set her eyes on my person she stood up abruptly so quickly the chair she sat on her dressing mirror fell backwards with a disturbing thud. “What have you co
The Return of the Witch Queen Chapter Ten (Fiona’s POV ) Malevolent. Manipulative. Horrible. Great bile rose in my throat, the urge to puke my guts out and yet I won’t feel the slightest clean from how dirty I truly feel. I have never been this disgusted with myself, stupid ideologies and the repercussions if Xander were to find out how low I sunk. What would become of me? The man who loves me with flaws and all. Won’t his heart shatter? My eyes close in momentary darkness envisioning his reaction, something deep in my soul is telling the truth would be open and when it does no one would be spared but most importantly I’m more concerned about him- Xander. When he hurts I hurt the most the thought of betraying him bugs me restlessly. His words, and reassurances have left a gaping wound rather than a balm. Xander fell in love with the pe
