Alpha Zach’s POV

The high priestess meditated for a while and then finally leaned forward. It is an ancient practice but that’s the only way to solve this misery once and for all.

“And…” I asked because I was still confused and lost because she hadn’t spoken about the ancient practice in detail. “What’s this practice you speak of and how do we make everything work?”

She let out a heavy breath and then leaned closer to me. “There is a ritual that will unlock the dormant energy in Roy’s blood. That blood would help the pack heal.”

“But…” she spoke again.

The sound of her voice made me curious and I was nervous about what she wanted to say. Because each time she sounded like she was going to give a warning, I knew it wasn’t going to be easy.

“What is it?” I asked. “Are there some procedures we have to pass through?”

She nodded. “It’s an easy one but it must be done willingly. The child must choose. And he must be guided by one he trusts the most.”

Everything was going again

  • ALPHA'S REGRET: RECLAIMING MY REJECTED LUNA   Chapter 39

Alpha Zach’s POVI had tried to understand what Alina’s father meant when he said, I shouldn’t have come to his park alone. But nothing was coming to my head because I made it clear from the very beginning that I didn’t come to fight anyone.“I come in peace,” I said again. He didn’t reply to me either. The stare from his face was sharp, and it was enough to cut through my bones if needed. I had faced so many enemies, and rivals back then. But being in the presence of Alpha Raven, Alina’s father was different. There was this cold feeling that came with every look she gave me. I understood where it was coming from because it couldn’t just be because he was an alpha. The anger inside of him was also coming from the place of being a father, just like it was to me. He was only trying to protect his daughter and his grandson.Well then, I didn’t have anything much to say because I had done my part and also made my request known to him. I had poured my heart into my words. I told him I w

  • ALPHA'S REGRET: RECLAIMING MY REJECTED LUNA   Chapter 38

Alpha Zach’s POVAlina mentioned that if I was supposed to go to see her father, then I had to go by myself. Although it was inappropriate for me to go alone, I didn’t have a choice. I have to do what is needed to make things right once again. Before I left my pack that morning, James, my driver, tried to stop me several times, insisting that he had to go with me because he was my driver and also felt I was his responsibility.I didn’t agree with any of them until I left. I thought it was going to be dangerous but somehow, I managed to cross the border without attacks from any angle. Maybe they were watching, and probably waiting for me because I was sure that Alina might have sent words to her father. When I got to the main gate, the guards recognized me instantly. “Alpha Zach?” one of them asked, eyes wide. “You’re not expected.” “Did any of you get words from the Alpha?” A voice echoed between them.“No! The Alpha never said anything.” Another voice replied. At that point, I kne

  • ALPHA'S REGRET: RECLAIMING MY REJECTED LUNA   Chapter 37

Alina’s POVAfter I finished at the office that evening, I decided to go to the garden to join the workers there. It was something I loved doing years ago and I decided to try it again since it was something I liked. While I was at the back of the house, trimming the flowers. I perceived a strong familiar scent and the moment I turned around. I saw him standing behind me. He was alone, he came with some of his men, although they stood a distance from him. “What are you doing here Zach?” I asked like I wasn’t happy that he came around. I was happy but I was just making sure that he doesn’t see me as some weakling again. It was something that ruined my life earlier with him and I was scared of it happening again. He didn’t say anything. But the moment he took a step forward, my heart skipped. “Why aren’t you saying anything? I muttered, taking a step backward. “Why did you come here?”“I want to be with the woman. I love,” he muttered, his voice low and calm. “I have missed you sle

  • ALPHA'S REGRET: RECLAIMING MY REJECTED LUNA   Chapter 36

Alpha Zach’s POVAfter the chaos of dealing with the rogue, I was all alone in my private chamber, thinking what’s next to do. The rogue refused to say a word until he gave up.That was the only chance I had to know who was attacking my pack. Yes, I ruined it. Everything was happening too fast, the attack and the crisis from Alina’s pack. Earlier in the day I had gotten information that Roy was doing extraordinary things in training. I wanted to see, I wanted him to be with me when he does those things. I just didn’t know how to bring him along. Maybe I could arrange for a vacation with them, but my fear was Alina.I just wanted a break from everything that was happening, and that included staying away from Bella. Since I accused her of working with Alpha Kayden, she had been acting weird and her behavior had gotten irritating. I stood up from my private chamber and then walked straight to Alina’s room. The room she occupied when she was mated to me. When I got in, I shut the door

  • ALPHA'S REGRET: RECLAIMING MY REJECTED LUNA   Chapter 35

Alina’s POV“My son, he is doing just fine with me and I don’t think he would want to come with you,” I muttered. What was I even saying? How was I going to tell Zach that he’s only son had gone with one of his biggest rival pack leaders? I shook my head and then moved away from him. “If this is some kind of a joke, I don’t want it to repeat itself.”He didn’t say a word. He just nodded and then started to go to the train again. His steps were fast and it seemed like he had a reason for walking in that direction. When we finally got to the train ground, Kayden paused and watched from a distance. I was still beside him, but didn’t say anything.Roy and the others didn’t even notice our presence. They are so concentrated on what they are doing. Carl and the other soldiers were also watching carefully. “All right,” I said as Roy stepped forward. “Let’s see if you can hit the wooden target gently this time.”No way, I had to stop them because I didn’t want Kayden to see something else.

  • ALPHA'S REGRET: RECLAIMING MY REJECTED LUNA   Chapter 34

Alina’s POVThe morning breeze was crisp as I stepped outside, the dew still clinging to the grass beneath my boots. Birds chirped somewhere near the woods, and for a moment, everything felt peaceful. But peace was a stranger in our pack these days. But there was something that was bothering me, and that was the fact that Zach had not visited me since he left that day after arguing with Kayden. I wanted him to feel jealous and regret why he left me in the first place. But, it now seems that. All I did, did not affect him. I hadn’t tried to call him either because I felt I pushed him away even when he tried to come around. The craziest part of it all was that I needed him now, and I wanted him to be around Roy. Most especially now that Roy was beginning to change. My father has said that the strength inside my son would develop each day. I never knew it could be sooner. At first, I thought he was just growing fast, stronger, maybe a little moodier. Normal things for a young wolf. B
