Until one day, Jane, involved in the same art project as Josh. Jane's nonchalant attitude that looked at Josh with disdain made Josh feel harassed. That caught Josh's attention. Josh's friends bet that Josh can play with Jane. What motivates Josh is the result of Josh's friend's investigation of Jane.

“You see that junior?” Caldeo talked about Jane, who was focusing on submitting the invitation letter for the project exhibition.

“I don't think she's your type, so down,” Josh smirked at Caldeo.

“Ah, she still looks pristine, after all if she polished a little she would look very beautiful,” said Caldeo again, still watching Jane from a distance.

“I wonder how someone like that got into this elite college,” Josh questioned Caldeo seeing as Jane didn't look like anyone from their circle.

“Ah, she got a scholarship, like a lucky draw. You remember last year's case where the commissioner had to silence the media through the admission of ordinary students with scholarships,” Caldeo tried to make Josh remember that.

“Ah, the discrimination case,” answered Josh, who was busy reading the documents on his tablet.

“But, Josh, you know, Andre ended up getting rejected outright by her. After we investigated, she was dating one of Carel's men who set fire to our community art gallery,” Caldeo kept rambling on to Josh, who was focusing on his tablet.

“Oh, really?” said Josh in short response.

“The dumbest thing is that she doesn't seem to know she's dating trash like Kevin,” Caldeo continued.

“Kevin?” asked Josh, who was then interested in what Caldeo was talking about, “Which Kevin do you mean? Kevin Carl? The one who ruined my car?” continued Josh again.

“Yeah, the person you were jailed for cutting your car's cables that almost killed you,” Caldeo confirmed the person he meant.

“So that woman is his girlfriend? Not the crazy woman who asked me to walk out?” Josh remembers the incident last year when Kevin Carl's girlfriend, Julia from a different college, confess to him and ask him to be her boyfriend and Kevin thought Josh had stolen his girlfriend.

The results of Caldeo's investigation made Jane look even more stupid in Josh's eyes.

“Ah that, that's precisely why I said junior is stupid. She doesn't know what kind of trash she is dating with. She even supports the living expenses of that trash,” laughed Caldeo softly, who was seriously watching Jane from the opposite table.

“That's interesting,” Josh also looked at Jane, at the same time Jane also saw her two seniors who gave her a sharp look that made her look away.

“But, I noticed Josh, it seems her, she really hates you. Have you ever been in case with her? I want to ask her for dating, if you ever get into trouble with her, it will make me look bad,” Caldeo smirked.

“Seriously?” Josh responded curtly, “But I think because of the junior who was always with her… I forgot her name, I just rejected her friend. Maybe that's why she looked at me like that,” Josh continued, frowning.

“Alina? The junior queen? You rejected her? When?” Caldeo turned his attention to Josh with eyes full of curiosity.

“I guess 3 weeks or 1 month ago,” Josh said shortly.

“Why don't you tell me?” continued Caldeo again and again.

“I don't think we are that close to share each other,” replied Josh with a sharply eyes.

“Then, who? Who is your type? You… You really are out of your mind,” continued Caldeo, grinning at his friend's habit, who always reject all the prettiest women on campus.

“Ah, but Alina isn't attractive anymore, she's like a slave to her boyfriend. But the junior in front is very attractive, she can always refuse Andre. So, I really want to try too,” said Caldeo, pointing his pen at Jane's table.

“You better do this right away, you keep talking nonsense,” Josh pointed out the stack of documents for the art exhibition.

“Okay, boss,” Caldeo said quietly.

Caldeo checking one by one the summary of the works in the document.

“But Josh I think, even a man who always rejects women like you, if you try to ask a junior like that to date,” Caldeo pointed again at Jane who such as conventional girl type.

“You… 100% will definitely be rejected, I'm sure your charm doesn't apply to her,” Caldeo said that nonsense seriously.

Josh frowned, “We've known each other for a long time, and you know it's easy for me, for a woman like that. Too easy,” Josh said confidently.

“You are sure?” Caldeo tried to stifle Josh's confidence, “Just try the test, I'm sure you'll end up being rejected outright,” Caldeo laughed lightly, still sifting through the exhibits on the table.

“Why should I try? She's not my type, so far from ideal,” Josh said his thoughts to Caldeo.

“Ah, you dare not?” joked Caldeo again, “Look, if you succeed in getting her. I will make an offer, I will give up my gallery in Paris,” Caldeo challenged Josh.

“Ah, that's not enough, I heard it's almost bankrupt,” Josh ignored Caldeo's bullshit again.

“He-he, you know that? Then how about the gallery that is owned by Sharon's family? Even though it's not the gallery, but 29.7% of the shares are in my hands. We can exchange some with other special things for me, young master, so you don't have to play too long on this campus,” Caldeo offered, which was enough to make Josh widen.

“Even Sharon's family didn't let me touch even 1% of the gallery's stock, you're offering yours?” Josh stopped looking at his table, “You won't regret it?” asked Josh again seriously.

“Ah, I offered it because I knew you would be rejected,” Caldeo replied confidently, “If you can, we can talk about it,” he continued to make an offer.

“Okay, I accept your offer, don't regret it later. ” Josh was so confident about Caldeo's challenge, “Then make a letter of agreement and send it to me,” said Josh.

In the beginning, Josh really only intended to play with Jane, until finally Josh really fell in love with the girl's innocence and sincerity. The stubborn stupid girl helped Josh who she thought wanted to jump suicide at Nikhil Bridge 2 years ago due to an internal problem that Josh might have. And in the end, Josh just pretended to have internal family issues because Jane couldn't believe that Josh just wanted to sit and take something which fell down to that bridge.

“Yeah right, I was dumped by everyone, girlfriend, friends and family,” Josh said at the time, 'Stupid woman, who do you think am I?' Josh thought in his mind.

“Then I'll be your girlfriend, friend, and family for you to get off of it,” said Jane as she pulled Josh down from the bridge.

“Ah, you are strong enough. Are you sure you won't regret your words?” said Josh confidently.

  • AT THE END: WE STILL IN LOVE   47. The Dawn of Judgment

Morning light seeped through the tall windows of the museum hall, illuminating the Green Badge team’s studio like a soft spotlight. The night’s labor left faint streaks of paint on their fingers and smudges on aprons, but their eyes shone with quiet determination. Today, the exhibition would reveal whether all their effort would pay off.Jane stepped forward, examining the three works—painting, sculpture, and pottery—lined up with precision. She traced the subtle motifs connecting them, the gentle interplay of colors and textures that now created a silent dialogue among the pieces. “We’ve done it,” she whispered, a faint smile tugging at her lips.Snon stretched, rubbing her eyes. “Finally. I feel like I can breathe again.”“Don’t relax yet,” Nicko warned, scanning the hall where teams had already begun arranging their works. “Iyuka will be here any minute.”True to his warning, a sharp yet familiar presence entered. Iyuka Sharon strode toward the Green Badge display, eyes scanning th

Albert, holding the sculpture in place, finally spoke. “We’re at a point where every small tweak counts. One careless adjustment and the harmony will collapse.” He glanced at the pottery and painting. “We’re threading a needle with three different mediums, but I think we’re getting close.”Illy, who had been quietly adjusting the edges of the pottery, nodded in agreement. “It’s strange, isn’t it?” she mused, “how a painting, a sculpture, and pottery—completely different forms—can either clash or sing together, depending on the smallest details.”Jane’s eyes never left the painting. “Art is alive,” she whispered. “And tonight, we’re coaxing it to speak with all of its companions.”Hours passed. The team experimented with shading, textures, and color gradations. They tested placement repeatedly—sometimes a shift of just a few inches in the sculpture’s position would create a new rhythm among the three pieces. “There,” Jane said at one point, stepping back. “The pottery now resonates wit

The team fell silent, disappointment written on their faces. “Nicko, you’re the leader, right? Did you not review your team’s ideas before executing them?” Iyuka’s words hit him squarely, leaving him momentarily speechless.“What about the rest? Are you all in kindergarten? Did you all only play here? Very Amateur!” Iyuka continued, his sharp gaze sweeping across the group. “You have until tomorrow’s exhibition to fix this, or I will disqualify your work myself. Do you understand? Finish it tonight, the mess you made.”The team remained silent, confusion and anxiety spreading among them.“Up until now, I’ve never seen a team this bad,” Iyuka muttered, shaking his head. “I can’t tolerate it any longer,” he said, turning to leave.Jane stepped forward cautiously. “At least… tell us what’s wrong,” she said, her voice trembling slightly.Illy nodded, backing her up, and Nicko added support.Iyuka stopped, his gaze sharp. “None of the nine members can see it? Do you think this is a private

A group of chefs and their team came to each table with food on a trolley table and served the food. “Thanks, chef,” said Jane and her table mates. “Wow, what a delicious dish,” said Lisa as the chef and waitress left the table. “Because I haven't had breakfast at all. Then, our last activity with coach Eden was really exhausting,” said Maxim from the white group, which made all the trainees at the table listen seriously, “This looks so delicious, and I'm starving,” he continued again holding his stomach. “Gee…” Jane accidentally snorted, “Eh, I thought you were going to say something serious,” Jane said again and laughed dryly. “So, have all the trainees sat down?” Coach Zurrec's voice came from the corner of the staff door. “It's coach,” answered all trainees. “I purposely gave you 5 extra minutes for you to have a proper discussion,” continued coach Zurrec and walked into the room, “So everyone already seated?” said coach Zurrec once more. “Sur

All trainees from the green group struggled to look at each other. “You, why not you Nicko? Just you,” said Anneth pointed her finger at Nicko, “Aren't you the leader who is responsible for this group,” concluded Anneth again with a bitter smiled. Anneth and Nicko are like two brothers who are enemies with each other. “I don't think that's true,” Jane raised her voice, “Hasn't he already helped us a lot,” Jane tried to defend Nicko, who had been nice to Jane so far. “If you care so much, why don't you, replace him? You, just you, do it,” snapped Anneth again, who acted like a pretentious child. “Hmm,” that left Jane speechless. “Ah, okay,” hurry up, let's

“Wow,” said coach Eden, patting Nicko's shoulder and barely said anything. “So you think like that?” asked the coach again, which made Nicko look a little down on his confidence. “Yes coach, I think the coach did not make a rule to prohibit it,” replied Nicko, laughing softly. “That's right,” you can return to your group. “That's what I want from you all the trainees,” coach Eden looked at the group that didn't manage to gather its members on time. “Think outside the box, and be compact,” continued coach Eden again. “Just like what the green group did, even though they only met yesterday, they can already help each other and take responsibility for each other,” said coach Eden to the green group. “Yellow group, you are indeed free today. But in the future, maybe you will also be tested like this. Don't think I'll save you even though I'm the coach who guide you,” coach Eden's smile reminded the trainees under his auspices.“Ready, coach,” answered the yellow group in unison. “For
