MEET THE ACES OF MAFIA
CLIFFORD's Point of View
"JUST make sure your wife won't get in the way of us, I already warned you!" Allison eyes' warned me.
I could see that she was agitated. She is clearly upset that I kept my plan from her. She was only startled when I presented Nishane to her as my wife, who is well-known throughout our company. Allison wasn't the only one I anticipated to respond in this manner for this reason.
I made a small laugh. I said, "Allison, you don't have to do that. Do you trust me?"
Gritting her teeth, Allison rolled her eyes. "You know that I will sacrifice my life to keep you safe; I put more faith in you than in myself!"
Smirking, I turned to face her. "I told you that already, didn't I? You don't have to do that for me."
"That's what I pledge! There is nothing you can do about that."
Allison constantly criticizes me when I do something she doesn't like. When I ask her if she trusts me and my judgment, she always says she does since that is the truth.
She made the same promise, along with a number of other Griffles Mafia aces, that they would risk their lives for the group. And it implies that they devote their entire lives to me.
I laughed again.
"Stay calm. I'll introduce everyone to her."
"That's not necessary!" she exclaimed.
"Stop being childish."
"I'm not!"
I knew how aggravated Allison is, so I refrained from fighting her. She did not anticipate what I did, and I am aware that is why she reacted in this way. I didn't, however, do it for myself. I completed this task for our business.
It's my method of getting back at whatever did us wrong, after all.
I also promise that each of their members will be eliminated one by one. Not merely an associate. Their most priceless head, though...
NISHANE's Point of View
"W-WHAT the hell is this? Look, we are not kids anymore to play games! I am not going to play with you, Clifford! L-Let me go! You asshole! L-Let me go!"
I was shoved by Clifford into a big, dark space. I have no idea what he is contemplating. He just took me and locked me in this room.
Later, I was shocked when two women had me sit on a metal chair against my will. Furthermore, a heavy rope was used to tie me to that chair.
I felt my pulse race with panic as I observed the heavy rope encircling me. The bombs that they affixed to my body came next. The strength of the two women was different from mine, so even if I wanted to fight, I couldn't.
"Who says we are playing?" Clifford asked with a laugh.
Damn! I am his wife, right? He handed me our marriage certificate! Why does it look like he's going to kill me?
What is he engaged in? What method does he intend to use to murder me? Why must he use a rope to tie me up?
I gave him a bad look when the two women succeeded in what they did.
"Then what's the point? I'm not joking with you, Clifford! I'm fed up with my life but I don't want to die! If you don't want me to be your wife, you can take me back to my old life! I won't ask you for money. I will also pay back my mother's debt! Not immediately, but I will definitely pay it back. Take them away from me!"
Even when I get hurt I struggle, hoping that way I can get out. Something I knew was impossible to happen. With their tight ties, it was impossible for me to get out.
"Who told you you were going back to your old life?" he asked without emotion. "I'll introduce you to our members."
I frowned in surprise. "Why? How? And for what—"
"Shut up or I'll shoot your head where you stand." My eyes widened when I saw him pointing the gun in his hand at me.
Is he going to put the bullet inside my head?
I was compelled to keep quiet despite my want to retaliate verbally. A woman came in a little while later with an orange and an apple in her hand. I simply let her to place the tangerine on my shoulder and the apple on top of my head.
I have no idea what they have in mind. But out of anxiety, I repeatedly swallowed. In addition, I had a gun aimed at me as if one wrong phrase would result in an automatic shooting.
I broke down in tears. What sin did I commit in a previous life to have these experiences? I'm not a bad person. I don't commit murder. I don't harm other people. Unless someone did something unpleasant to me, I didn't do anything bad to someone. But why am I receiving such harsh punishment?
"Like I said I'll introduce you to the members," Clifford said and walked over to me. He grabbed the apple on my head that was attached to the metal headband. "You will know their positions one by one. So stay calm."
I couldn't stop my tears. "How can I calm down?"
He stepped back and smirked.
"You will know."
"Damn you—" I didn't finish when I suddenly felt someone quickly whip the apple. And when I looked at the floor it was ruined. "What the heck is that! Fuck! Come on! I don't want it anymore! Spare my life! Please!"
"That's Khleassandra. She is the Long Range Shooter of the family. What she used was an M16 Rifle also known as an AR-15."
My eyes widened as I caught my rest. I didn't understand what he was saying because my life was more important to me.
"I don't want to! Please! I don't want to play with you guys!" I struggled as I said that. "Let me go! Please!"
Before I could fully recover, the tangerine on my shoulder was suddenly destroyed. The juice splashed on my face. I felt and heard something close to my ear.
"And that is Allison. She is our Sniper. She used a Remington M24 SWS."
"I don't care, Clifford! I don't care about your mafia! I don't care about your life! If you're bored, don't include me! I will keep quiet! I want a peaceful life—"
I was about to say anything when I heard a loud sound coming from the bombs that were strapped to me. And when I realized there was only a minute left and the bomb was ready to detonate, I nearly fainted.
I swiftly turned to look at Clifford.
"What are you doing to me?! Are you really going to kill me?! Do you see that it's only a second away and it's going to explode!"
"That's why you should start calming yourself down."
"Do you hear what you're saying?! Do you even hear yourself? Any person you put in my position would be scared for their life! Who wouldn't be scared?!" I looked down at the bombs. "What now?! Are you going to do nothing?! Are you going to let me die? Did you marry me to kill me?! What an effort, Clifford— Come on! 30 seconds left—"
"I can diffuse that in just a blink." A man came out of nowhere. "I am The8—"
"He is Octavius. Don't believe in him." I looked at the source of the voice. He is also a guy.
"Come on, dude. That's not my name!"
"Stop chattering. Are you going to let the boss's wife explode?"
The man who introduced himself as The8 approached me and winked at me. "Don't close your eyes and you'll be safe."
I looked at the bomb again, 10 seconds remaining...
There's not just one bomb attached to me. That's five. Can The8 diffuse them in just ten seconds?
I didn't listen to him. Because of fear I closed my eyes...
I counted to nine... and to ten...
I opened my eyes. I don't know how the bombs were gone from my body, I saw them scattered on the floor and no longer working. The wires are tangled.
"They are Octavius and Agapito. Octavius is the bomb specialist while Agapito is the Compute Genius."
My mind snapped back to reality when I heard Clifford speak. But I didn't listen to him. I heard what he said but I didn't understand anything. Later two women came in, they were not the woman who wrapped the rope around the chair.
They look so powerful and intimidating...
And they are holding rifles.
"They are Khleassandra and Allison," Clifford introduced to the two.
The two of them shot me... the two of them almost killed me.
While still shocked by the incident, I slowly walked towards Clifford. And that's when I realized that I was shaking... my body was shaking too much.
But still, I mustered up all my remaining strength and quickly slapped Clifford hard. I could clearly see how his head tilted to the side. And I felt the shock of the four people watching us.
It was too late for Clifford to react.
Because after I slapped him, my body gradually collapsed and lost consciousness.
Khlea’s Point of ViewI was just looking at my teammates while we were all holding the cue stick. My friends’ attention was focused only on Allison, who was staring at the cue ball. It stands while measuring how to attack to shoot some balls that are its target. “What do you think about that, Nishane?” The8 asked with a smirk on his lips. “It looks like our friend will be hit because of that heir. Imagine that Nishane is weak, but Clifford chose him.”No one answered us, but Allison sat down hard, causing it to shoot its target balls. She stood up properly, then looked at all of us without emotion. “Whatever happens, we don’t care anymore. It’s Cliff’s life. Their life.”She is right. But even I know that things are complicated for them, so what if Cliff has special feelings for Nishane?“Allison is right. We shouldn’t get involved in any of Cliff’s personal business with Nishane. There is only one thing we need to do for Clifford—to protect him,” Seven said.I was a little surprised
A DINNER TOGETHERNISHANE's Point of View Being blinded by the light flowing in through the open bedroom window, I gently opened my eyes to wake up. Upon realizing where I was, I scowled. What took place last night is something I will never forget. When I first woke up, that's what I thought about right away. In my heart, a peculiar horror took hold. Again feeling shaky, my entire body trembled.I had the impression that the space where I had been shackled to a chair made of metal and prayed I wouldn't pass away was still there. I've only spent a few years on earth, and that night was the only time I prayed that I wouldn't pass away because I still had so much to do. To save my life, I begged.I cautiously stood up and leaned against the bed's headboard. Clifford, my husband, spat when the bedroom door finally opened. I assumed that he was holding a platter that was filled with food.I gulped quickly out of fear and trepidation. However, I was aware that I had to struggle again
Khlea’s Point of View“You just woke up, Khlea?” The8 asked me when I passed him in the pool area. He was taking a bath and it looked like he had been there for a while.“Hmm. Have you eaten yet?”The8 went up and took the towel that was on the bench. He wore boxers and wiped his body. “It’s been a while since I’ve been hungry again.”I laughed a little. “So, what did you eat for breakfast?” I crossed my arms across my chest.“Coffee and bread, but Seven, he cooked an omelette.”“How about Allison?” I asked. He thought for a moment. “It’s like I didn’t see her eat earlier, but she was at the racing field. Just go if you want to invite her to eat breakfast.” “Okay. Are you leaving later?”“Of course. You also coming with us. The four of us will leave later.”I frowned. “I’m with you.” Although I know that the four of us will actually leave later. I just thought it wasn’t because I’m too lazy to act now.“Of course. I’ll get dressed first.”“Okay. I’m just going to meet Allison at the
HIS REASON FOR ABDUCTING MENISHANE'S Point Of View I TRIED to be as undetectable as possible by dressing up, just as Clifford had advised. The rumors about me spread like a virus even though they were untrue, so I tried to conceal it even more. Yes, it's true that the report about me was false. My mother, who was present, simply hushed up the problem. Clifford informed me previously that my false statement would be released the following day. As it turns out, my mother is responsible for the news about me that is circulating online when I go into my account… to talk about me and prevent fans from finding me.When it comes to news involving myself, I detest being tardy. I'm able to view somehow. My fans are unaware that I also set up a social media account. I'm aware that I've already generated some conversation even though the fake statement wasn't still publicized. Furthermore, I am aware that what they know is that I am just having my vacation and that is the reason why I su
Khlea’s Point of View“Why did you agree to what she wanted, Khlea?” Allison asked me as we left the coffee shop and were walking towards the parking area where Velvet was parked.I frowned. The tone of Allison’s speech seemed to be different, as if she was annoyed. “What if I agree, Allison? The person is already sick. It would be a pity if I didn’t give in, wouldn’t it?”She faced me. “How can you be so sure that what she says is true?”“What do you mean?”“Is it legitimate that she’s sick? Maybe later that’s just her way of getting you back to her. You shouldn’t agree right away until you’re sure.”“Allison, maybe Cindy won’t make up a story just to make me stay. It’s a bad joke to have me. She still has cancer.” For me, such a thing is very sensitive and should not be made into a joke. Cindy has no reason to use being seriously ill as an excuse.“Even so. You should have looked carefully first. What if it’s not true that she’s sick? Then you didn’t divorce her, so she’s fooled you
I AM GOING TO WIN YOUR HEARTNISHANE'S Point of View WE RODE back to the home where the security had me and Clifford detained in an opulent limousine. Since I was still unable to comprehend the words Clifford had left me in the enormous mansion where we had been, I kept quiet as we traveled home.Simply said, I am in awe. I find it difficult to believe Clifford has such a weak motive. He compelled me to become his wife after kidnapping me solely because he desired a wife. I wasn't coerced, in actuality. They told me that we are both married when I just woke up from their scheme. I never got the opportunity to appeal. He had no opportunity to speak with me at all. There was no opportunity to even alert me. That's what I have; I just woke up.How fair is that? Naturally, no.My human rights were taken away from me. I lost my citizenship rights. I lost the ability to make my own decisions. Considering that they denied me the right. Why did they abuse me like this? How could my mum
Clifford's Point of View I HAD NO trouble getting my wife to give up drinking. I feared I might struggle, but fortunately I managed to coerce her into doing what I asked of her. As a talented actress who has been in numerous television series, Nishane is also challenging to control. She probably has a plan for a situation like this, I'm sure of it. I did not, however, intervene when she indicated she wanted to drink more. Why? She chastised me for what I did, so that's why. She claimed that I was to blame for her migraines and emotional distress. She shouldn't be trapped within this enormous mansion, but I did, thus I'm to blame… to make up for my error.Since I don't truly know her, I'll admit that it's difficult for both of us. We don't know each other at all. But I had the time to look into her. That's how I in some way got to know her. That's not all, I'm aware. In comparison to the woman's real life, the portion of her life that was put online was rather limited. Because o
NISHANE'S Point of View WE STARTED giving each other passionate kisses. I am confident that I am not drunk at the moment. I still desire to do it with him, though. I'm not sure why, but I believe that something about him has a craving for my flesh.I adore the way he kissed me, pressing his lips against mine with even greater intensity and desire. It seems like my favorite frozen treats flavor is all I can think about. I covet his lips and kisses.Later, I experienced the sensation of a lightbulb going off in my head. It wasn't right, I was informed, and I should quit. I then came to a standstill.I avoided him, which caught him off guard. We had the impression that our minds had just suddenly opened up. We immediately realize that what we're doing is wrong and that we need to stop doing it, as if something in our brains had clicked into place. We started to feel uncomfortable one of us said. Slowly, we rose up on top of me while dodging each other's gaze.Given that it was the f
