Nervous Anticipation

Summer's POV

"I will only mark and mate with you when you are good and ready my precious princess."

These words took free residence in my head for days. 

I was almost always distracted. I cannot lie, but just hearing my second chance mate's voice hypnotized me.

I was moving around in a daze. I finally understood what it means to be 'love struck.' However, in as much as I looked forward to meeting my mate, I was also a bit anxious.

How will I relate to him? Unlike other girls my age, I never dated anyone.  Would he accept me just like that? Am I going to be a good mate? Won't it be difficult to relate to to him? The huge question is, Am I even ready to be queen Luna? Am I even ready to shoulder the responsibilities that come with that title? Not forgetting that I already have enough responsibilities by just being Sunny's human. 

*Argh, I just can't do this at all."
